Match Discussion: Game 32 - The Valiants (A)
I don't fear Port Vale. I just hope they focus on playing football and don't resort to being thugs like Morecambe did. It could be a very long game if we don't get any protection from the referee, so I do wish it's a good game for footballing reasons.

Swansea Sniffing Around Richard Montague... again..?
He's gone, we can't change it, and just like players, I would rather they want to be here. I don't wish him anything. I don't support Swansea City, but I would thank him for what he did do for Notts.

Junior Morias to Woking on loan
What are the chances of Woking wanting to pick him up from us if he does well? I don't see us getting a fee for him; he will probably leave on a free if anything.

Notts County Await News on Jodi Jones & David McGoldrick Fitness Ahead of Port Vale Clash
Maynard's got this team believing! Port Vale away won’t be easy, but we’ve got momentum. Hope the injuries aren’t serious.

Who is your Man of the Match v Morecambe
He started off a bit nervy and I don't think he looked all that good in training. A lot of the shots went past him, and even in the game he would slip and drift his position into areas where one mistake could have been costly. However, I do think Alex Bass kept us in the game in two incidents and did very well to keep a clean sheet.

New Faces, Big Ambitions: How Notts County Are Preparing for the Run-In
Great read! Love the patience Maynard has with new signings, not just throwing them in straight away.

Match Discussion: Game 30 - The Gills (A)
I think the interviewer after the game who spoke to Stuart Maynard got it right. The timing of our form couldn’t have been better, and the start was really exciting to see. That bright response at the beginning might not always be repeated, but it’s something Notts needs to do more often. Things are coming together, and the goals shook Gillingham. They had no response until it was too late. I wish them well, but I’m happy for the three points.

Maï Traoré to Notts
Excellent piece of business! A robust, swift forward is just what we've been lacking. Eagerly anticipating his debut.

Notts County Secure the Signing of Guinean Forward Mai Traore
Great bit of business! A strong, quick forward is exactly what we’ve been missing. Looking forward to his debut.

Jatta is looking sharp! That finish was class, and his overall work rate made a big difference. Good three points.

Curtis Edwards Humbled by Notts County Fans’ Reception in Return from Injury
Brilliant to see Curtis back! You could tell he was buzzing to be on the pitch again. He’ll be an important part of the team at the back end of the season.

Who is your Man of the Match v Carlisle?
George Abbott deserves the man of the match. No doubt, he earned my vote.

Match Discussion: Game 29 - The Blues (H)
Notts must perform better today against Carlisle United than they did against Bromley. The game needs to be finished off, and it would be frustrating if we can't score. I hope we don't go into the second half at 0-0, but instead have the lead. Then we can focus on securing the result. Super Sammy Austin to make the day!

Notts a selling club?
Every club should sell players. We are not at the level where we can afford to miss out on transfer fees. As long as we re-invest well, I am happy with it.

Dan Crowley, Microwaved Lasagnas, and the January Transfer Circus
KingofCounty commented on allardyces tash's blog entry in Tune in Next Week: The Ongoing Drama of Notts CountySelling players mid-season always feels risky, but if it funds new signings, I’m all for it.

Who is your Man of the Match v Swindon?
I voted for David McGoldrick. The sponsors at Notts are doing better than usual.
-
Josh Martin: Stay or Go?
We can afford to extend the deal until the end of the season, with a one-year rolling option if Notts wishes to take it. He's done well lately, and it's more about him starting to fit in and knowing what players are around him.

Match Discussion: Game 25 - The Robins (H)
Swindon were dire, much like the amount of support their fans gave. They sat quietly for the most part, but the numbers they came with deserve praise. Their team looked very lacking and not very direct. Notts should have been 5-0 up before half-time if we had converted all our chances. Even in the second half, we had some very good efforts. I thought David McGoldrick had scored his spectacular effort from his aerial volley towards the goal. I'm not sure how he missed the perfect pass from Jatta, though.

It's been a test of resilience for the team. I think once everyone’s fit, we’ll see a Notts side with real depth and firepower.
