  1. Great stuff, @ARLukomski! Really captured the essence of the match in this vlog!
  2. A well-deserved victory for Notts County! One could clearly see the tactical prowess of the team. Looking forward to what they can do against Tranmere Rovers. Excellent thoughts on the game, very fair and interesting.
  3. A fitting victory for Notts! Williams' tactics and the team's dedication were a winning combo.
  4. I understand, I understand, fans often emphasise the impact of an early goal, and in our case, scoring one against Doncaster could have a significant effect. It would grant Notts the advantage and relieve them of the need to constantly create opportunities, allowing them to focus on executing quality football. Such an early goal would place Notts in a proactive position and facilitate their integration into the flow of the match. My confidence in our defensive capabilities remains steady; I anticipate Doncaster will provide opportunities for us to play, aiming to exploit areas where we struggle to maintain possession. However, we must assert ourselves to force Doncaster into granting us playing space. By pressing them to retreat, we can create expanses of open field.
  5. Bostock is not just a fantastic player, but also a leader who rightly focuses on how the journey shapes the outcome. The faith and perseverance amidst struggles define the spirit of this club. With such ethos, victory can't be far.
  6. A victory at the Eco-Power Stadium is long overdue! Time to turn the tide, Notts. Cheers to an entertaining match!
  7. Got to appreciate Luke's dedication and clarity. Come on Notts, let's give him the game he's prepped us for.
  8. It was a rather unique game in my view. It's not common to witness a team with so much possession struggle to score. It's a bit of a puzzling situation. On one hand, it's impressive to control the game, but on the other, it's a bit frustrating to see that dominance not result in goals. However, let's not dwell on the negatives! Keeping a clean sheet in an away game is fantastic. I think our players could benefit from more top-notch coaching on breaking down compact defences. Games like these help the management pinpoint areas for improvement. I'm excited for a more assertive approach in our next match.
  9. Bit of a frustrating match, but clean sheets are always a positive takeaway. Good to see minor tweaks in the line-up, too.
  10. Fantastic news! Tipton sounds like a promising young talent. Here's hoping for a stellar season ahead!
  11. Superb selection of away games there, Clark! I'm keen on the Barrow match, perfect excuse for a Lake District weekend.
  12. Sad to see Charlie go. You did a stellar job at the microphone mate!
  13. A huge step forward from the Stoke friendly, but again we know these are just about trying things. However, I like the fact that Notts, under Luke Williams’ instructions, tried the standard 4-4-2 formation. I hope we are able to adapt and play well in the league without relying on one formation. It was this change that made us competitive against Forest. If we had stuck with 5-3-1, I think we would have struggled to create chances. It was a good, entertaining game.
  14. It’s not a good sign to see them being given time, instead of the matter being settled. I think most of the time these delays are just to buy time and there is a real risk that the next time it won’t be paid but an attempt will be made to delay it even longer, which is very dangerous. I hope Southend manages to weather the storm.
  15. This pre-season match has evidently provided some invaluable lessons. Excited for the new season!
  16. Langstaff definitely has an instinctual knack for being in the right place at the right time during the games. He is, no doubt, an asset for us.
  17. Can't wait for the football season to begin. Notts County, make us proud!
  18. Great job to the lads on their first pre-season friendly! A 3-0 win is nothing to sniff at. Looking forward to seeing more as the season progresses.
  19. This isn’t aimed at anyone here, but fans always say it’s about fitness. When Notts loses, or a player doesn’t perform well, or whatever else someone can find to complain about, they do. Likewise, if we win, some will expect more from the team and start moaning that if we’re not in a title race come Christmas, then we have failed. It’s just a game for Luke Williams to review things before the season starts. I’m interested, but I want fans to realise that this won’t give us any insight into how we may do in the league. Only those league games will determine that, and for once I wish people would try to sit on the fence a bit more.
  20. Under Williams' guidance, the players' resilience and positive mindset are clearly shining through. Success hinges heavily on the mindset of the players and their commitment towards improvement. These insights from Williams instill a lot of confidence in the potential of the squad to deliver great performances.
  21. The club statement noting Nemane's growth as a player resonates with fans who have watched him develop his game understanding and self-belief over the course of last season.
  22. Williams's transfer market movements reflect a well-thought-out strategy: bringing in league one quality players like McGoldrick and Crowley while bidding farewell to fan-favourite Rodrigues. While the latter's departure might sting, Williams’s balanced approach and aim to drive Notts County forward is commendable.
  23. It's inspiring to read about Mick Vinter's journey and how he made a name for himself in football.
  24. Cool to know that Nigel's grandfather saw the last game at Trent Bridge and the first at Meadow Lane. It's like Notts County runs in their blood!
  25. Dan Crowley appears to be a crucial signing. I have been reading about the clubs he has been linked with and it is surprising that the rumour sites never mentioned this for us. It seems that some League One teams’ fans thought he was going to join them. I feel it is a very good signing.
