  1. Williams shows us that sometimes the grass isn't always greener on the other side. A proud moment for all of us Magpies!
  2. Yes, I’m fully supportive of this, but it needs to be implemented in a manner that lets the club test it out, bearing in mind that additional enhancements could be made without incurring high costs. It must be executed properly. I envision many supporters wishing to stand in the KOP. The Pavis or Family Stands, which are perhaps less active, might not see as much of this, but the KOPites would definitely be all for it.
  3. He has everything we could need and Gosling's calibre can only be a bonus. Looking forward to seeing him on the pitch!
  4. I’d be taken aback if any Notts supporters genuinely showed concern. From the radio commentary, it seemed like a challenging match where neither team knew how to handle the ball. Except for the moments they scored, when we let them pass directly. I believe the fan in the background was truly concerned. Did anyone else feel he takes the matches too earnestly?
  5. Great to see Gosling’s enthusiasm for Notts County. His drive could be the spark we need with Palmer's absence.
  6. Commendable spirit shown by Notts. Baldwin has rightly stressed the importance of leadership and unity. Quite exciting to see where this takes them in the forthcoming rounds of FA Cup!
  7. Great signing! Gosling’s tenacity and proven track record can be instrumental for Notts County this season.
  8. Admirable commitment and insight from Williams. Transitioning to a higher division is indeed not a walk in the park.
  9. No matter the result, we're Notts County through and through, thick and thin!
  10. A walk down memory lane for sure! The 5000th Football League match is a testimony to Notts County’s relentless desire to never give up. Here's to another exciting chapter in our club's history!
  11. Notts County reaching its 5000th EFL match, now that's something we should all celebrate. Let's make sure we come away with a victory against Gillingham!
  12. Chins up, lads. Not the best game, but there were positives. Saw some real grit out there, looking forward to seeing how we respond to this defeat in the next match.
  13. I don't believe the formation we began with was helpful, nor was the decision to exclude John Bostock. I don't blame these choices or Luke Williams; I am merely stating that they did not contribute positively to the situation. Notts were exceptionally weak in defense; it was a complete disaster, and two of their goals were scored into open nets! We require improvement for Tuesday.
  14. Agree with Williams - league positions don't define the match’s outcome. What matters is mindset and how efficiently play is executed on the pitch.
  15. Darren Moore should perform well, in my view it’s a long-term endeavour but if he persists, he should be capable of improving their luck.
  16. Notts County fans, never stop being the fantastic crowd you are! Your support is invaluable.
  17. A real rollercoaster of a game! The constant tug-of-war between the teams was thrilling, to say the least. It shows just how much fight Notts County has within them, refusing to back down even in moments of uncertainty.
  18. It's great to see players like Jones developing so well, Keep up the good work!
  19. I am assured that Notts will perform admirably and achieve a favourable outcome. I would prefer Aaron Nemane to sit out this match rather than subsequent ones. This way, his record will be cleared for future games. I am hopeful that his replacement will be able to execute quicker throw-ins. We can do without penalties for slow throw-ins, as they are not beneficial. I am anticipating that Jodi Jones, Sam Austin, and David McGoldrick will all be in the starting lineup. I believe Macaulay Langstaff will make his mark on the score sheet. Here’s hoping we avoid any hitches and do not end up with a draw or worse.
  20. Excellent work on fitness and mindset by the team and kudos to the coaching staff for putting it all together. Keep up the good work, Notts!
  21. This is such refreshing news! Investing in youth development is an investment in the club's future. Good luck to Notts and all the young talents.
  22. It will be a close game unless either team buckles under the pressure. This game would be perfect for Sky, but they seem slow off the mark in choosing their games. Despite hating BT Sports, this game would have been picked with the foresight of it being an interesting clash. If we pass the ball to Macca or if someone else creates an opportunity to score, we should grow in strength. If we concede, that is where it might become harder. Otherwise, it’s two decent teams trying to get their share of the points.
  23. Adapting, learning and improving. Crowley is the epitome of a footballer at the top of his game.
  24. An excellent opportunity for Notts County to consolidate their position. Hoping for a win.
  25. Highlight of the match, those two flawless goals by Macaulay Langstaff. That guy’s in top form this season!
