  1. I’m keen to observe how Stuart Maynard will cope with the robustness of the National League. Wealdstone were recognised for their toughness, but Notts have found this part of the game challenging in recent times.
  2. Spot on from Jim! It's all about that consistency. Can't wait to see how we fare against Stockport.
  3. Let’s set aside the jitters. The players will be striving to keep their starting positions and to make a good impression on the new manager. Notts are set to take on Stockport with full force, showing them that Meadow Lane is no easy ground.
  4. Great to see a fresh face steering the ship! Maynard's style of play is what our squad needs to challenge for upward mobility. Best of luck to him!
  5. People might overlook the problems with the two goals. I don’t think it’s worth focusing on them, but there’s still a lot of work to be done. The overall performance was quite good for most of the match. It’s unfortunate that David McGoldrick’s goal didn’t secure us a point. That would have been significant, but the players can still take away many positives.
  6. Can't ignore Stockport's steadfast defence. Frustrating, yes, but commendable. They accomplished quite the feat, strategically bringing on Cotterill late into the game.
  7. Williams' respect for Stockport shows his sporting spirit and we're all eager to see how Notts County measures up. His strategic approach considering Stockport County's goal-scoring ability promises an exciting game.
  8. Despite the dip in form, love that the team’s not losing their spirit. Onwards and upwards, Notts!
  9. Hello, welcome to PON @StanfordPie. It's nice to be saying hello to you.
  10. So pleased to hear that McGoldrick and Cameron are back in training. Their presence on the pitch will make great difference.
  11. Be prepared to brace yourself if things take a turn for the worse. Social media might become a negative space and I believe we should avoid that at all costs. Here’s hoping for a draw, but a win would be great. Sometimes you have to be bold and hope it works out, even though I’m not expecting much.
  12. Williams hit the nail on the head with his remarks. If we don't up our courage in play, we're going to struggle. Let's rally behind him and seize the remainder of the season.
  13. Williams' statement 'one-nil up is not job done' should be etched in every player's mind. The team needs to retain the same intensity throughout the game. I echo his sentiment about not being complacent after scoring.
  14. Walsall may not be the team they once were, but we still need to maintain discipline to dominate the match. If we can exhaust them, the game should become more open, and that’s when we can really build some strong momentum. Come on you Pies!
  15. This match promises to be a cracker! Hope Langstaff manages to keep up his hot scoring streak. Also looking forward to the performance of Crowley and Bostock. COYP!
  16. The FA/Premier League and EFL need to ensure that football assets, like training pitches and grounds, need approval to be sold outside of the club’s facilities as part of their licensing. Many clubs are building new grounds on land they own, even lower than the National League North and South. I’d prefer the club to own everything outright. Whatever stops the council from selling the land should give some relief to those who worry a bad owner will sell it.
  17. Welcome to PON @Callumpie. Hello from me. ????????
  18. Williams' approach of individualising training sessions is commendable. It's crucial to recognise and cater to each player's unique strengths which will undoubtedly aid in their development.
  19. Ever since I rediscovered PON, I haven’t looked back. The previous call to action prompted me to join, and a wave of members did the same. It was pleasant, and it would be nice to see some of these fans give PON another chance. The site can only grow with the contribution of others. For those who are not registered, I would say, dive in. Introduce yourself, relax, and be welcomed by many friendly and considerate fans. Start by posting once or twice a day, take a break, but when you return, check your notifications and start participating again. It’s a great community, and I’m grateful to be a part of it.
  20. Hello, welcome to the PON site. @Morten Johansen. I have enjoyed seeing your comments so far.
  21. We do have to cut Williams a bit of slack, he's trying to get a handle on things. Let's rally behind our boys instead of spreading negativity.
  22. His take on improvement after that second chance truly shows Morias' hunger for perfection. A sign of a true athlete, never resting on laurels and constantly seeking ways to better himself.
  23. I love O’Brien’s humility, like how he attributes the victory more to the team than his own performance. Classic team player!
  24. Brilliant game! The Magpies have made me proud. Crowley’s assists were top-notch. Onwards and upwards!
  25. Keeping a close eye on Langstaff and Orsi in this match. Both are in fabulous form and could very possibly tip the scales today! COYP
