  1. The article hits home. Watching a loan player develop and then leave is bittersweet. I'm torn between the immediate benefits and the long-term impact on our own youngsters.
  2. The team's adaptability and defense under Maynard's guidance have been impressive. Excited for what's next!
  3. I think the win should calm some fans. It’s not possible to win every match and bouncing back from a slump can be hard. We all assumed Stuart Maynard would have a smooth ride, but it’s been quite the opposite. This is a fantastic win for him and the team.
  4. Good job, Jodi Jones. He’s made Notts his home and it’s wonderful to see him thriving.
  5. Macca is amazing. If a striker doesn’t get good chances, scoring is tough. But we have a player who always tries. He’s a brilliant striker and adding another two goals to his tally is great.
  6. I don’t think he’s likely to be injured but I’d expect him to at least be on the bench. We surely didn’t sign him just to be a substitute, that would be odd.
  7. The shift from everyone on the pitch was noticeable, transitioning smoothly from defence to attack.
  8. That’s a good point. The security of a three-year contract and a pay rise certainly mitigates some of the risk. It’s great to see such dedication being rewarded.
  9. Leaving a steady job to pursue his coaching dream? That's the kind of passion and commitment you want to see in a head coach.
  10. I’m hoping for a strong start under our new gaffer. Steady defense coupled with smart, assertive play upfront. Quality win would be great for the confidence.
  11. Hello, welcome to the Pride of Nottingham @Harry Buckley. ????????
  12. Hello, welcome to the Pride of Nottingham @True Magpie. ????????
  13. Hello, welcome to the Pride of Nottingham @Michelle Evans. ????????
  14. Buzzing to read Chicksen is back on the grass. Achilles injuries can be tricky. Big boost for the team's backline.
  15. Welcome to the Lane, Warner! Eager to witness that build-up play Montague's banking on.
  16. Dream debut, dream contract! James is the kind of talent that makes you proud to be a Magpie. Excited for what's next!
  17. I’m keen to observe how Stuart Maynard will cope with the robustness of the National League. Wealdstone were recognised for their toughness, but Notts have found this part of the game challenging in recent times.
  18. Spot on from Jim! It's all about that consistency. Can't wait to see how we fare against Stockport.
  19. It’s a solid appointment. There’s no reason for him to not succeed, especially with the high-quality squad he’s inheriting. If he can replicate his successful strategies from Wealdstone, it feels like a winning situation.
  20. Let’s set aside the jitters. The players will be striving to keep their starting positions and to make a good impression on the new manager. Notts are set to take on Stockport with full force, showing them that Meadow Lane is no easy ground.
  21. Great to see a fresh face steering the ship! Maynard's style of play is what our squad needs to challenge for upward mobility. Best of luck to him!
  22. What was at the top of the charts when it was first released? It’s before my time, but whatever prevented it from reaching the top must have been a good song.
  23. People might overlook the problems with the two goals. I don’t think it’s worth focusing on them, but there’s still a lot of work to be done. The overall performance was quite good for most of the match. It’s unfortunate that David McGoldrick’s goal didn’t secure us a point. That would have been significant, but the players can still take away many positives.
  24. Can't ignore Stockport's steadfast defence. Frustrating, yes, but commendable. They accomplished quite the feat, strategically bringing on Cotterill late into the game.
  25. Williams' respect for Stockport shows his sporting spirit and we're all eager to see how Notts County measures up. His strategic approach considering Stockport County's goal-scoring ability promises an exciting game.
