    What a game! Fleetwood thought they had it in the bag, but Notts County showed incredible spirit to fight back. Excellent vlog as always, @ARLukomski!

    Notts can only prepare well and focus on what they have learned and the plan for the game. I don’t think we need to worry too much about Grimsby. They are a good League Two team but far from polished. I see them as an upper mid-table team. If we defend well and take our chances, it should be an entertaining game to watch.

    I think this is why Macca was at Notts last Sunday. He probably went with Jodi Jones and Dan Crowley. I am thrilled and delighted for them both. Jodi always looks too serious! Things you love to see! ????

    Defensive lapses have cost us dearly in the past. If we can tighten up at the back, we stand a good chance against Grimsby.

    I expect a close game. Notts need to tighten up defensively to handle Grimsby’s attacks.

    It would have been nice if the squad had held on to the 2-0 lead. It was good to see us pull back to 3-3. Losing on penalties is a bit disappointing, but I think the players tried their best and just fell short on the day. Penalties are difficult, but David McGoldrick should have scored, and his decision on how he took the penalty was frustrating.

    The decision seemed to work in the first half. Our players tried, and I think we have to respect that. However, I do agree with comments I have seen about taking Sam Slocombe off for Alex Bass. Once we went 2-1, some changes to reinforce the defence might have been the better decision.

    The orange kit is just a lazy shirt with minimum effort. You could literally take any other template Puma kit and make it look more interesting. The purple/blue shirt should be the away kit.

    It has the potential to fuel further excitement or disappointment. I hope the players don’t read any social media comments and stay focused on just playing their best. I do think we could do well if we play well enough.

    He’s a talented player, and I wouldn’t have minded seeing him for another season. However, something seemed to be lacking in his performance last season, and I’m not entirely convinced we’d see him return to his peak form. I hope John Bostock finds a suitable team. I wonder what the odds are of him signing with a Scottish team?
