  1. I appreciate what he did at the club. When he left, it was a shame he couldn't find the investment needed to stay. But we do have the Reedtz brothers. So, one hero to another. We are lucky as a club. Sven not only came but left without his wages.
  2. Such a great read! Keetley’s achievements with Notts County are truly legendary.
  3. Great to see the team adapting so well under Maynard. Looks like the Magpies are ready for a strong season!
  4. Welcome to the PON site, @Andystarscream. I hope you join in.
  5. He’s biased as a pundit, but I didn’t mind him on The One Show. He seemed quite friendly and comfortable in the role. He’s mentioned seeking legal advice, but it’s just drama without the facts.
  6. Hello, @Beechams. Welcome to the PON site.
  7. He looks like a very good player. His time out of the English game has given him the ability to bring a different style of play to Notts. I think this was his EFL debut, and I don’t think he’s played for a league team before. It was a very impressive performance by him.
  8. This gallery is a brilliant! It's wonderful to see the community spirit and dedication of Notts fans.
  9. It does look like a good signing, and I am happy with it. I think Lucas Ness looks like a solid addition to the team. I am not concerned that he’s recovering from an injury; we can afford to give him time to come back to action. As for wanting a striker, I think we all do, but maybe Notts hasn’t identified a reachable target as of now? Welcome, Lucas Ness.
  10. The brothers have done wonders. Going to Meadow Lane is the best I have known during my years of supporting the club. I am still a teen, so I have seen some of the darker times as a younger fan and worried. I don’t with the Reedtz in charge; they seem to be transforming the club’s fate.
  11. I think we all want a fair game, but they don’t seem to share much information. @Piethagoram, what makes Notts so bad compared to other teams?
  12. Welcome to Notts County, Lucas! Excited to see what you'll bring to the team. ????????
  13. It's great that key players like Rod McDonald and Kellan Gordon are close to returning. The team's depth will be crucial.
  14. What a game! Fleetwood thought they had it in the bag, but Notts County showed incredible spirit to fight back. Excellent vlog as always, @ARLukomski!
  15. Notts can only prepare well and focus on what they have learned and the plan for the game. I don’t think we need to worry too much about Grimsby. They are a good League Two team but far from polished. I see them as an upper mid-table team. If we defend well and take our chances, it should be an entertaining game to watch.
  16. Middlesbrough 2-2 Portsmouth Sunderland 0-1 Burnley Charlton Athletic 0-0 Bolton Wanderers Lincoln City 3-1 Mansfield Town ???? Joker Cheltenham Town 0-1 AFC Wimbledon Newport County 1-1 Accrington Stanley Rochdale 2-1 Forest Green Rovers Sutton United 0-0 York City
  17. I think this is why Macca was at Notts last Sunday. He probably went with Jodi Jones and Dan Crowley. I am thrilled and delighted for them both. Jodi always looks too serious! Things you love to see! ????
  18. Defensive lapses have cost us dearly in the past. If we can tighten up at the back, we stand a good chance against Grimsby.
  19. I expect a close game. Notts need to tighten up defensively to handle Grimsby’s attacks.
  20. It would have been nice if the squad had held on to the 2-0 lead. It was good to see us pull back to 3-3. Losing on penalties is a bit disappointing, but I think the players tried their best and just fell short on the day. Penalties are difficult, but David McGoldrick should have scored, and his decision on how he took the penalty was frustrating.
  21. The decision seemed to work in the first half. Our players tried, and I think we have to respect that. However, I do agree with comments I have seen about taking Sam Slocombe off for Alex Bass. Once we went 2-1, some changes to reinforce the defence might have been the better decision.

  25. Thanks, Tom, for the insights. Fleetwood may surprise a lot of people this season. Let's see how they fare against Notts!
