Match Discussion: Game 4 - The Robins (A)
We will always be hoping for a win, but just as Swindon hasn’t had the best start, Notts needs to keep up the standards that have been set. I’m not at the game, but I think it will be quite even.

Energy Price Cap to Rise 10%.
I like Martin Lewis; he provides excellent financial advice, and his analysis helps people avoid being affected by changes.
-
Welcome to Notts, Lucas Ness
I’m not sure what to expect, but if he wants to join the team—this applies to everyone—he will need to work hard because it won't just happen by chance. I look forward to seeing him play in our shirt.
-
Where are they now : Christian Oxlade Chamberlain
He never really seemed to get started, but I hope he's found a club where he can make a difference.

Fair game Index revised
I can't see the whole picture, but you need to stay neutral when doing research like this. The last message isn’t visible now, and if it has been deleted, that isn't transparent. You have the chance to address it calmly if approached honestly.

Northerner terrifies Londoners
I think it’s common in busy places where people usually want something or are trying to sell things. You just keep your head down and stick to your routine. I found the video quite funny.
-
Bochum's cup shirt
I don't mind the idea of cup shirts, but it needs careful planning. That can be difficult, but making people wait for the shirts is just silly.

welcome beestonpie
Hello, welcome to the site @BeestonPie.

It could be wurst
Notts should consider improving the food options in the stands. We are a bit behind the times, and not everyone wants to eat from a food truck.
-
Did You Know? (Football Related)
I can’t say I knew much, but I do enjoy learning more about Notts and the club's history.

Notts County Women FC /Juniors
I am delighted to see the junior players of the women's team doing so well. It's wonderful to witness young talent being encouraged and praised for their achievements. That goal was amazing!

Opposition View: Swindon Town Fan Lee Witts' Honest Analysis Ahead of Notts County Match
I think it’s fair. Swindon Town’s start doesn’t mean they’re a bad team. They just need their first win, and playing Notts will challenge them.

Sharing the Love for Notts
My grandfather always encouraged me to support Notts. He told me that we should look after each other and that being a fan means embracing the fanbase. When I was younger, it didn’t mean much, but it does now. I sit in the Kop with my parents, and sometimes my grandfather comes too. Notts is all I know about football. Some of our fans make games more fun when they joke with you. I see this on PON. I’m glad my parents let me be part of the site. I’d love to hear other people’s stories about supporting Notts, especially if you go to games with your family. We are a family club.

Hopes & Fears for the 2024/25 Season
I’ve only been watching for a few games, but I think things are going well. Defensively, we’re getting better, and our team looks strong in every area. I’m worried about the fans who don’t like Stuart Maynard. They’re negative and create a bad atmosphere. I think they’d still be negative even if we were top of the league.

RIP Sven
Some fans might not understand how important Sven was to Notts. He came for the right reasons, and his passing was very sad. His goodbye message was brave. Thank you, Sven.
-
Jermaine Jenas sacked by BBC
I don’t mind him, but this all sounds like unnecessary drama. I don’t know what messages he’s sent, but it sounds like there’s been a lot of back-and-forth.
-
Transfer Rumours : Cedwyn Scott
Cedwyn Scott is staying, and he’d be hard to replace. He’s a striker, not a midfielder.
-
Salford's Matt Smith announces retirement
It’s sad when players retire. I wish him all the best. I miss Jim O’Brien more than Michael Doyle.
-
Lou Macari at Notts last Thursday
I don’t know much about Lou Macari, but it’s great that he’s supporting his grandson.
-
Three England Managers.
Given where we were in the league under two of those managers, it’s a positive fact.
-
August Player of the Month: Pride of Nottingham
All three players have been playing well and have helped us start the season strongly. However, I voted for the player who I think has been the most consistent.

Sven-Göran Eriksson: A Legacy Remembered at Notts County
It's nice how Notts fans are paying tribute to Sven. This is a brilliant article. It talks about why we remember him so fondly. He was before any of my memories of supporting the club, but I still appreciate him.

Game postponed for a weird reason?
This is just silly. How can you go to a game without your kit? It's embarrassing at Sunday league level.

Weekly Chat 26th August- 1st September
The last days of my freedom are almost here. I want to make the most of the time I have left before school starts again. I hate the beginning of a new school year. You get 5 weeks off and enjoy it, then you're thrown back into it. The breaks should be more spread out. Today, I've decided to go to the city centre. Later, I think I'll watch something at the Showcase Cinema.
