  1. If a player wishes to leave, we should respect their decision and do all we can to facilitate it. Notts requires players who are committed and give their all in every match. Kyle Cameron appears to be upset about losing the captaincy. Whether it’s right or wrong, he’s moved on and it won’t be our issue when his contract expires.
  2. There are some grumpy fans of Notts on social media. I find it hard to believe that true fans, who have seen his dedication, would deny him such a move. My view of him is based on highlights and the occasional full game that I have streamed. It’s clear that he possesses a quality that a higher-level team would eventually seek.
  3. Welcome to PON, @Jake. Good to have you on board.
  4. Welcome to PON, @Up the Maggies. Good to have you on board.
  5. Welcome to PON, @Morten Johansen. Good to have you on board.
  6. Welcome to PON, @TimB. Good to have you on board.
  7. Notts were fortunate to retain him the season following our promotion. Once the fans settle down and view the broader perspective, I believe most will realise that denying Macaulay Langstaff the opportunity to play at a higher level is somewhat self-centred. While I would have relished the chance to see us ascend with him once more, we are in a phase of growth and sometimes that requires financial investment.
  8. Hayley Turner, we take pride in you. Your name will be etched in our memories. You are one of our own!
  9. Macaulay Langstaff is a refreshing presence, a born striker that the club has been on the lookout for years. At last, Notts has a gifted striker who could make a significant mark if he stays for a few more seasons. However, I recognise that at his age, he will have his own aspirations.
  10. Welcome @BiggestPieInGlasgow! Good to see a new member join.
  11. What a fantastic read! Nick’s heartfelt words about his time at Crawley Town really struck a chord. It’s clear that he genuinely cherished his time there and appreciated the support from the fans. Transitioning to Notts County seems like a perfect fit for him, especially considering their ambitious plans and style of play.
  12. Alex Bass seems like the perfect fit for Notts County. His experience from AFC Wimbledon, combined with his obvious enthusiasm and calm demeanour, should make him a valuable asset to the team. I’m really intrigued by his comments on the club’s atmosphere and potential for promotion. Goalkeepers with his level of focus and drive can really make a difference in tight matches, and it's reassuring to hear that he’s keen to develop further. Here’s hoping he can help us secure that much-needed promotion!
  13. Welcome, Nick Tsaroulla! It's really exciting that we’ve signed such a talented player. His performance at Crawley, especially that incredible goal against Leeds and helping them secure promotion, makes me optimistic about what he’ll bring to our team. His versatility on both flanks and defensive strength offers much-needed flexibility. I believe he will blend in well with our current line-up, adding depth and experience. Thanks to Crawley for nurturing his talent; now, it's our turn to benefit. Looking forward to cheering for you, Nick. Best of luck!
  14. I've been lurking for a while, but this nudged me to finally participate actively. Following the ‘Jimmy Sirrel Stand’ forum has been enlightening. Hats off for urging us to utilise this, it will make the fan experience more enjoyable, and I’m here for it.
  15. While it's clear that our performances haven't been up to scratch, Williams' critical analysis and call for change have provided a route for growth. His focus on building up properly, making forward passes instead of turnovers, and being assertive in defence, shed light on gaps we can fill. This insight into the complexity of managing a team gives fans like myself perspective on how layered improvements need to be. We may be down, but Williams, with his experience and commitment, seems the right man to lead Notts County out of this slump.
  16. Williams is setting the tone right for the upcoming matches with his positive and constructive attitude. The match against Harrogate is an opportunity to demonstrate that we have learned from our past mistakes. Optimistic as always, let's push ahead with the same attitude!
  17. It's a great bit of insight about the key players from both sides, this. The talk about Macaulay Langstaff has been getting louder and one can't help but hope he gives us another goal fest tomorrow.
  18. O’Brien’s goal despite playing from a deep position was a pleasant surprise! It shows his adaptability and willingness to push boundaries on the field.
  19. Junior's journey from injury sheds light on mental toughness and the importance of being a supportive presence off-field. His firm grasp of the game's challenges, unrelenting passion, unwavering commitment to excellence, and deep regard for teamwork make him a great footballer. Hats off to Junior!
  20. What are the odds that a single goal will once again determine the away score? I anticipate a very close game, with several good opportunities but not many clear ones.
  21. Williams' insight into the strong unity in Wimbledon's team brings to mind the old saying, "united we stand, divided we fall". He gives credit where it's due and that speaks volumes about his understanding of the game. As a Notts fan, I'm excited to see how our team will face this united front. If we can disrupt their unity, we might catch them off-guard.
  22. The key point to remember here is that everything can be resolved with a bit of effort. There’s no need for concern, but we do need to return to our winning form. Mark Stallard’s insights are quite sensible; it’s crucial to maintain structure and work in harmony.
  23. Absolutely, I couldn’t agree more. Given the current form of our opponents, we should definitely be aiming for a win. Our boys have demonstrated remarkable resilience in the past, and I’m hopeful they’ll maintain their winning streak. Applying pressure from the get-go and excelling in set-pieces could be our secret weapon. I’ll certainly be tuning into the live stream to cheer them on! Let’s hope for a great match.
  24. It’s really uplifting to see a footballer like Sam Austin who shines not just on the field, but also grasps the finer details of the sport. His perspective on Notts’ rise to the top of League Two offers a peek into what’s needed to make it in football - a lot of graft, commitment, working as a team, and above all, having faith in yourself and your teammates.
  25. The upcoming Notts County match against Forest Green, it’s certainly going to be an exciting encounter. The sight of Meadow Lane, even through the iFollow stream, is bound to be impressive. The stadium, with its rich history and electric atmosphere, always adds an extra layer of excitement to the matches. As a fan, I am eagerly looking forward to this match and hoping for a win for Notts County. Let’s hope the team brings their A-game and secures a victory!
