  1. Fans have to let Matt Tootle and Neal Ardley do whatever is best for the club, it's good to see he's okay and sounds determined to fight for his place.
  2. Momentum is a little all over the place at the moment, they perform well most of the time the results come. I am just hoping that Notts can keep a clean sheet in this game, it's important building on from it. A win would be a bonus.
  3. I do feel Michael Doyle will be a defensive miss, him sitting back and being the talking point between the midfield and defence. Yet, I feel Regan Booty should do well if he comes in. If someone else starts, I am not sure if the formation might need a bit of a re-think. The key is to control the game and create exciting chances, confidence will lift from that.
  4. It boils down to expectations and some fans being impatient, football is a fickle sport and some just want a fast turn around in terms of results. Success isn't won this way, it's been Notts County for many decades now. The revolving door just continues, get behind the players if you dislike Ardley but after all the turmoil it will take several seasons to fix. Notts will not just become a Football League club because we are "too big" for this league.
  5. Despite his strike, I am not that impressed with Kyle Wootton's work rate. It was a great strike but unless he's not match fit. He deceives to flatter. Good draw.
  6. Edgy end to end game so far, Notts have had a couple of good chances early on but likewise Yeovil could have been up by now.
  7. Who's knocking Chorley? They played well for a side that aren't even professionals. Their keeper looked good, he was hardly at fault for conceding what he did. Notts looked class in the second half, despite being much better than the opposition. Chorley still gave Notts a game but by the final 20 minutes both teams just passed the ball around. What I don't understand is why fans are swinging comments around when Notts plays well, then they flip it when the club loses. Some perspective into the situation, Notts played like a team in the second half and adapted well.
  8. Very good questions, well done @liampie
  9. Its going to be very tense and hard to watch. The first 20 minutes will feel like an eternity I feel. I just want to see Notts fight to the very last second, this whole mess could have been avoided but we are Notts. Let's march on regardless.
  10. Very good win, solid performance and the players seemed bothered. Why exactly did it take until the very last home game to get them performing with some passion?
  11. For once I felt people left early and that seems justified based on the performance, in short summary Neil Ardley selected the wrong squad. He left changes too late and the players didn't work hard enough.
  12. I have to admire his belief, it's looking grim but if the players see that fans are behind them who knows? Positive message from someone on social media.
  13. Done, ticket purchased. Only a few needed now.
  14. Let me get home and I will join the raffle, I'm happy to do my bit.
  15. It would be easier if Notts didn't turn up and just forfeited the game, this would involve more effort on their part than it would if they played.
  16. It will take more than a miracle to keep this lot up, Notts was beyond poor today and awful wouldn't be the right word to explain how dire they performed. All hope of survival seems to have faded after the incredible win against Mansfield.
  17. Notts needs to start stepping up, I felt the club turned a corner but results like this makes me fall down to earth. There's still a lot of work to be done but the fight needs to be there. Two defeats needs to be stopped, a third right now would be a disaster.
  18. I am hoping Notts can deal well with Newport, they will try all the games in the book to slow the game down. There just needs to be a flash of magic by Enzio or someone else, I would happily take a 1-0 win over a game which might see us concede after pushing to kill off the game.
  19. 17 left, as I have just purchased a ticket @Chris. I am more than happy to support PON and you. Good luck!
  20. 2-2 draw watch. I suspect it will be quite the game but with the outcome very tied, I just hope Notts responds to any potential setbacks.
  21. Very good idea, will look to take part myself. 25 people should be a lot easier than the last but I thought that ran rather smoothly for the first time.
  22. Agreed a win would be a good thing leading into Mansfield, it would give confidence but the results around us need to help. If they pick up points, then we are in the same situation. I do feel Notts can win Forest Green.
  23. Losing to Yeovil is like throwing in the towel, there was no response and the teams playing awful. I fear they're too far gone for Neal Ardley to change much, scraping results together to climb out seems impossible.
  24. Well done to all four members who have won this raffle. You are all lucky people!
  25. Get a win and it could be enough to start to push back out of the relegation, I'm sorry but a draw here and there is a good thing. It isn't something to be relied upon.
