  1. Everyone can lose their way, but you can always jump back in when you’re ready. The reason fans feel compelled to share their thoughts varies, but it’s likely that the more you contribute, the more you’ll gain. I recall the concern when there was talk of Twitter changing to X.com under Elon Musk. This isn’t Twitter, but it’s a fantastic fan community.
  2. Rebounding from injury is a stern test for any sportsperson, and Junior Morias ably demonstrates his grit and dedication in such times. His commitment to supporting the team off-field and his readiness to contribute whenever required expresses endless determination. His trust in the team’s strategy is also highly laudable. He embodies what a Notts County player should be!

  4. It was delightful to see Jim O’Brien receive his well-deserved recognition against Crawley Town. His performance was steady and his goal was timed perfectly with a tempting cross. It’s just like Jim to shift the spotlight onto his teammates, a true mark of respect.
  5. It was a fantastic comeback, and Notts really needed that win. We seemed quite anxious when Crawley had too much possession. Adam Campbell’s goal was excellent, no one can deny that. But the way we stayed positive and fought for a comeback was truly heartening. It was a joy to see David McGoldrick score, and even more so when Jim O’Brien’s header put us in the lead.
  6. What a headline indeed! It would be great to see our current squad earning accolades like this and making a strong push for promotion in League Two. We’re on our way, but a bit more consistency wouldn’t hurt.
  7. Rest in peace, Terry Venables. A knowledgeable and friendly manager, highly respected throughout the football community.
  8. From my perspective, the weaker the appointment, the more likely their fans will put pressure on them, and the less likely they are to perform well against us. Generally, I don’t pay much attention to opposition managers.
  9. It will be fascinating to see if Notts can pull together and deliver a stellar performance, or if the game will unfold slowly with few opportunities. Regardless of how it pans out, I’m hoping for the best possible result.
  10. Welcome to the Pride of Nottingham, we are a very friendly community. So, hello @Laura Cameron.

  12. This captures the essence of Notts, it’s all about family and community. The 70s was a golden era in our club’s history, and it’s wonderful that younger fans, like Wendy’s granddaughter, are now witnessing a more successful team. We experience good times and bad, but we always remain a community that supports Notts County to the very end. This is a heartwarming story indeed.
  13. Keeping in mind this is just a suggestion of a top-notch player to watch, I agree. But unfortunately, in reality, he’s being tipped for a move to the Championship and would command a significant fee. From what I’ve seen, he’s a very good player and would fit well into our system.
  14. I’ll take the game as it comes. All I ask for is effort and responsibility in defending. We’ve seen this for most of the season, so I can overlook the occasional mistake, even if it’s disappointing. I hope Luke Williams encourages the players to go out, make a statement, and aim for a clean sheet.
  15. It’s great to have Adam Chicksen back. Hopefully, he’ll get more time on the pitch because he can be a valuable player. To bring out his best, he needs to play consistently. We haven’t seen his best this season, mostly due to his intermittent appearances.
  16. A warm hello to you, @samantha louise. Welcome to PON.
  17. A warm and friendly hello, @magpiemad. Welcome to the Pride of Nottingham.
  18. Ben Davies truly demonstrated his value in our first season back in League One. His performance that season was exceptional, especially considering he was part of the Munto League Two winning team. Alongside Neal Bishop, he formed the bedrock of the squad. Watching him play was a real treat, and he was not only an impressive player on the field but also a genuinely nice person off it.
  19. I’ve cast my vote, and I wish the best of luck to all the nominees. A big thank you to those who nominated me and voted for me. I believe the deserving candidate will win, but I’m grateful for the recognition.
  20. After witnessing Notts’ defeat at Wimbledon, I’m planning to vanish into thin air tomorrow. I have no plans, but I finished work on Friday, excited about a weekend away, only to return feeling like I need another weekend away from football. Work and football, they can be a real double whammy, can’t they?
  21. It was a disappointing match overall. Notts must improve their away game performance as we’re not earning enough points to keep up with the leaders from home games alone. Conceding two goals in the manner we did was frustrating. It was a relief to pull it back, and it seemed like we were on track to win. However, poor defending cost us the match, and the first half was repeated without any comeback. The two penalties were another source of frustration due to clumsy decisions to go for the ball at inopportune times.
  22. @Piethagoram I believe many fans would concur with you about Tiernan Brooks. It would be fantastic to see him as our first choice, but I think he’s still a bit off from that. Perhaps once Sam Slocombe retires or moves on, he’ll be in a better position to compete with Aiden Stone. However, it seems like he’s being groomed for a long-term role.
  23. Watching Jack Grealish was a delight, his confidence and skill even back then were beyond his years. There’s not a Notts fan who wouldn’t be pleased to have seen him play for Notts, and it’s wonderful to see him regularly expressing his affection for our club.
  24. What about Manchester City? While everyone else is losing points, the bigger clubs continue to disregard the Financial Fair Play rules.
  25. I don’t participate in Black Friday, it’s all nonsense to me and I rarely consider taking advantage of a sale. There’s just no incentive for me to buy items.
