Guess Who? The Notts County Edition
This seems much harder. I’m guessing it’s Steve Finnan, although I don’t think he made 200 appearances for any of his clubs. Are you counting cup games?

From a two-goal deficit to Wembley Final: Notts County’s dramatic win through Aden Baldwin's eyes
Jodi Jones netting the winner for Notts was a superb moment. It thankfully prevented another lottery that is the penalty shootout. Aden Baldwin's brace and the goal from Jones rescued the win and what scenes followed! The club hasn't been as thrilled as that in decades, if not longer.

Notts County earns support from Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds, who aims to show support in promotion bid
If Ryan Reynolds were to attend Wembley to wish Notts County all the best, it would certainly be a kind gesture of support. Despite owning Wrexham, it would demonstrate that he cares about the team and its fans and wants to see them succeed.

Match Discussion: Play Off Semi-Final - The Wood (H)
If every Notts player puts in a good effort and works hard on Sunday, I am confident about the final outcome. The most important factor will be the officials. Notts can score goals, but it is important that the officials make the right decisions. If the game is well-officiated, I have no concerns. However, if the focus is on the officials rather than the game, it may be difficult for Notts to score. I hope it won't be like the Dagenham & Redbridge game.

Macaulay Langstaff and Les Bradd: A Relationship Built on Goals and History
Macaulay Langstaff is one of those rare players that we can just sit back and enjoy his time at Notts without fear of transfer speculation. It would be amazing if he could break into the top five all-time goalscorers for the club. Let’s show our support and cheer him on!

What Should Our Squad Look Like Next Season? A Breakdown of Key Players and Recommendation?
Notts has a lot of attacking options. One addition I would like to see is the arrival of Jodi Jones on a permanent basis. If Ruben Rodrigues leaves, Jones or Sam Austin could fill that void. Both would be decent replacements, but I hope he stays. Ruben has a chance to cement something at Notts, which might not work out for him if he leaves. Wishful thinking is that he stays. The defense needs further work. I would like to see another strong center back arrive and someone to continue to get the best out of Adam Chicksen. Signing Joel Taylor seemed a masterstroke by Notts as he helped get the most out of Chicksen. If the new left back is versatile, it would leave game minutes elsewhere when Chicksen is irreplaceable. I don’t think we’ve seen the last of Frank Vincent, but he needs to work harder to increase his game time.

Adam Chicksen: Luke Williams’ Influence Vital in Decision to Remain with Magpies
Adam Chicksen has had a remarkable season for Notts County and is dedicated to helping his teammates improve. He has decided to stay at the club for another two years, thanks in part to the leadership and values of his coach, Luke Williams. Frank Vincent has also been making a strong impression since returning from his loan spell. With such a strong team mentality, it’s no surprise that Notts County has been successful this season

Match Discussion: Game 46 - The Minstermen (H)
Notts County should play a strong game against York City. Matt Palmer is a key player who holds the ball and distributes it without fuss. If Macaulay Langstaff starts, he should have plenty of efforts on goal. Aden Baldwin, Kyle Cameron and whoever joins them at the back need to work tirelessly to remain alert. Keeping a clean sheet with few efforts on goal would be a big confidence boost going into the playoffs. Arron Nemane, Adam Chicksen, Sam Austin and Ruben Rodrigues will be priorities with the creative aspects. And if needs be, Luke Williams can wrestle each match official to the ground and chase them off if their decision making turns out to be poor. That’s one way to keep the game fair!

Luke Williams' animal antics: from wrestling deer to chasing them off training pitch
Looks like Luke Williams is not only a great manager but also a skilled deer chaser! The players must be feeling confident knowing their coach can handle anything that comes their way - even if it's a deer on the training ground. Let's hope they can carry this agility and persistence into their match against York City at the weekend!

Notts County’s Jim O’Brien celebrates emotional hat-trick with fans
Jim O’Brien’s experience and attitude on the field are truly something special. He brings a level of skill and determination that can’t be taught. His passion for the game and his drive to succeed set him apart from the rest. It’s clear that his experience has shaped him into the player he is today, and his attitude is a reflection of his dedication to the sport.

Match Discussion: Game 45 - The Stones (A)
At 3-2, one might have thought “here we go again” as we’ve experienced similar collapses in previous seasons. But this squad is different. Maidstone United deserve credit for not giving up. From the highlights, it could have easily been a hammering for them, but they turned it into a real game.

Ryan Reynolds: "They deserve to go up. We are rooting for Notts County"
This season has been an absolute joy to watch. If it wasn’t for Notts and Wrexham being so closely matched in their battle for the National League title, it could have been just another run-of-the-mill season. But credit must be given where it’s due, to Luke Williams, the squad and our owners. And let’s not forget Ryan Reynolds, who has shown himself to be a true gentleman with his gracious comments about Notts. He seems to have his heart in the right place.

Guess Who? The Notts County Edition
@CliftonMagpie, you’ve provided so much detail that my brain is doing the cha-cha! @super_ram, I am loving it. If you could see me right now, you’d wonder why my tash is doing the tango. ????

Match Discussion: Game 45 - The Stones (A)
If Notts were to pile the pressure on Maidenhead, causing them a nightmare and scoring 8 goals but still not winning the league, it would sum up this club in a nutshell. I don’t see Wrexham losing, so I think the focus should be on putting together a convincing display that eases Luke Williams’ mind and shows the fans that the club is focused for the playoff run. It will be incredibly important to avoid defeats in the final two games, as confidence and morale are always big factors when it comes to achieving promotion. No doubt Maidenhead will want to try to spoil our run.

Guess Who? The Notts County Edition
This is right up my alley. Based on what @liampie has written, I would assume that his career peaked in the 90s since he would have been young before that. Did this striker happen to make it big with his local team or a team from the area where he was born? Can you give us a clue about his qualities as a striker? Playing for 20 clubs could mean he wasn't very good, but that wouldn't limit him much since Notts has had some awful forwards over the years.

Match Discussion: Game 45 - The Stones (A)
Well, the players have the ability to perform both quickly and slowly. Some would argue that a faster pace is best, but I think in difficult games, it's much better to carefully pass the ball around. Matt Palmer should definitely be in your list, @TheSkipper. He's barely put a foot wrong all season and, in fact, since he joined the club. If there's a chance that it might be harder to create opportunities, then Luke Williams may need to consider playing with a second striker, as one is very limiting up top. I don't think Macaulay Langstaff can do it on his own for 90 minutes without some bits of quality thrown his way. It's a tricky situation, but I'm sure Williams will figure it out. After all, he's got a great team behind him.

Match Discussion: Game 44 - The Cardinals (H)
The beginning of the game was somewhat back and forth, although Woking experienced difficulty retaining possession or making it towards the goal. Notts had a few promising attacks but nothing substantial. In my opinion, Sam Austin had the most favourable opportunity in the first half as the ball came down in an awkward manner, but he was still able to control it. During the second half, Woking was bound to decrease the speed of the game, which is when the chance arose. It wasn't necessarily due to Adam Chicksen and Jodi Jones swapping positions, but rather the pace increased, and the players sensed that a goal was imminent. Before the first goal, there were two or three decent opportunities.

Notts County's upcoming play-off run: a look back at the thrilling campaign
Since the Reedtz takeover, the improvements have been continuous. They've supported every manager, allowing them to do their job. It was unexpected that under Neal Ardley, Notts County would have the season they did. Most fans would have predicted a mid-table finish. However, under Ian Burchnall and now Luke Williams, the squad has been assessed and strengthened. This year's signings have brought the club to greater heights. It's not just luck, but also the hard work of the players and the club's synchronization with the ambition and preparation needed for success.

Is the Multiverse Theory the ultimate answer to life's biggest questions?
It's quite amusing to think about a universe where Big Sam never left Notts. He wouldn't have had that tough guy mustache from the 80s, would he? And that would mean I would be a clean-shaven Allardyces or something like that! I don't really believe it, though.

Where are they now... Zeli Ismail
I thought I hadn’t seen the best of Zeli Ismail, but there’s a chance that his career didn’t quite reach the potential that those who enjoyed watching him play had hoped for. I felt he always did his best when wearing a Notts shirt and I had hoped he would join us.

Match Discussion: Game 43 - Red Dragons (A)
I wonder how the Wrexham supporters feel about the game on Monday? If anyone tuned in to the post-match coverage on BBC Nottingham, they would have heard some valid points being made about the possible repercussions of a loss going into such a significant match. While it may not mean much, given their sizeable team and the top-level skills of their goalkeeper, Ben Foster, it is a point worth considering. In my opinion, we have the superior team and play the best level of football. Nonetheless, I anticipate a tough match for both teams. The pressure is on both sides, though somewhat more so for Wrexham after their loss to Halifax. Notts recognises how difficult it can be to rebound after a defeat when you're at the top of the league, so this game could go either way.

Match Discussion: Game 42 - The Stones (H)
Despite knowing that Wealdstone were going through a bad patch, I still expected them to put up a good fight. Unfortunately, that didn't happen, and their travelling fans were let down by their players' performance. Nevertheless, I'm happy for Archie Mair as he played well, and Frank Vincent and Jodi Jones made a great impact on the pitch. Winning 3-0 is a fantastic result and a much-needed boost for Notts County.

Notts County claims top spot in National League with Macaulay Langstaff's Record-Breaking Goals
Well done Notts, an emotional day, but a fantastic result for all those involved with this club.
-
Match Discussion: Game 42 - The Stones (H)
Over their last five games, they've lost three and only drawn one. They're going through a rough patch. It's not my style to criticise teams, but they're a bit unpredictable. They have the ability to fight back, to lead with ease and make it tough for their opponents, but they can also crumble and collapse in a way that makes it difficult to predict which side will show up against Notts.

Match Discussion: Game 41 - The Robins (A)
Notts managed to come away with a win, one way or another. While there may be some controversy surrounding the first goal, there's no denying that their player clearly lifted their arm up for the second goal. It's not acceptable to jump like that at any level of the game, and while some may argue that the decision was harsh, it was well within the rules. Getting three points and a clean sheet is a huge positive for the team, and I think it's a real testament to their hard work and dedication. All in all, it's a great result for Notts County.
