5,000th League game
Nearly 5,000 games, eh? I can’t help but wonder how many of those were attended by the late, great Colin Slater. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was at least half of them - though I’m only joking, of course. I bet he knew more about the early days of Notts County than some of the players who donned our shirts! He is sorely missed.

Finishing position
I think Notts will at least finish in the playoffs. The team has shown incredible skill and determination throughout the season, consistently delivering strong performances on the field. With their talent and dedication, they have what it takes to secure a spot in the playoffs and compete with the best.

Notts Alumni: Jonathan Forte
Jonathan Forte was a fantastic player with quick feet and great skill. He had an incredible ability to control the ball and navigate through defenders with ease. His agility and speed made him a formidable opponent on the pitch, and he always gave his all for the team. Forte’s technical ability was matched only by his passion for the game, and he always played with heart and determination. He was a true asset to the team and his contributions will never be forgotten.

The Conference years
The National League years serve as a reminder that life exists outside of the Football League. However, it also reminds us that we cannot take the club for granted. After the poor seasons we’ve had under other reigns, it’s refreshing to have owners who are moving the club forward.

Can we do a Luton?
I believe we’re on the rise and will become a solid League Two team. Next season will be revealing - if we start off strong, we might even start dreaming of back-to-back promotions. Whether we can do it beyond League One is another question, but I have a feeling we’re on the brink of happier times.

Notts County’s Head Coach Luke Williams Shares Joy of Promotion with Notts County Fans
This article really captures the excitement and joy of Notts County’s promotion back to the Football League. It’s great to see the team and fans celebrating together.

Aaron Nemane
Aarone Nemane definitely deserves a round of applause for his performance at Wembley. He’s taken Cal Roberts’ spot in the squad and run with it - literally! When he gets going, teams find it hard to keep up with him. I don’t even mind when he tries things and loses the ball - as long as he tries to win it back. After all, you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take!

Notts County triumphs over Chesterfield and reclaims title as world’s oldest football league club
It may not have been the ideal performance, but what counts is the win! Securing it through penalties made it even more special, despite the added tension. What a fantastic trip to London! The reactions of the players were brilliant.

Match Discussion: Play Off Final - The Spireites
I wonder how Luke Williams can resolve the nerves in defence because it hinders the ability to go forward. The deep line becomes a nightmare when teams rush out and put more energy into their play. Chesterfield came out wanting it more and played like they had a point to make. The referee made some questionable decisions, but I think he got the penalty decision correct. Unfortunately for Sam Slocombe, he caused two issues at the very start. He looked nervous and if he remains at the club, this defensive issue needs to be worked on. Good teams will find it easy to exploit this weakness, as Wrexham, Boreham Wood and Chesterfield all did. I thought Aaron Nemane was class, but other players like Adam Chicksen and Sam Austin were average. They didn’t contribute much to the game and I think Luke Williams made the right call by bringing Jodi Jones on quicker than normal because he helped change the outcome. Ruben Rodrigues wasn’t very bright but scored well. Macaulay Langstaff had chances but we didn’t bring him into the game. Cedwyn Scott helped in this regard. People praise John Bostock who was solid going forward but clumsy in key areas defensively. His goal was a redeeming stunner and I won’t dwell too much on the penalty.

Match Discussion: Play Off Final - The Spireites
I don’t think Chesterfield will be too concerned about our previous encounters, just as I believe we wouldn’t be. It’s more on them to want to correct those previous defeats, but at the same time, complacency can become a worrying thing. I am hoping for the best. If any of their players decide to dive like they did last time, the official needs to quickly put a stop to it. It’s important that the game is played fairly and that any unsportsmanlike behavior is dealt with promptly.

Heartfelt Reactions from Notts County Fans after Playoff Victory at Meadow Lane
I couldn't agree more with Colin's assessment of the match and the electric atmosphere at Meadow Lane. The tension and excitement were palpable, and I also felt a sense of apprehension as I made my way to my seat after the half time break, wondering if our team could pull off a comeback. I share Colin's sentiments about the two turning points in the match, particularly the tactical changes that allowed us to exploit Boreham Wood's defense. Jodi Jones and Cedwyn Scott were both outstanding in the latter stages of the match, and their contributions were crucial in securing our victory. I was also moved by Colin's mention of Jason Turner and how he silently prayed for the team's success. It's a testament to how much Notts County means to its fans, and how we never forget those who have played a part in the club's history. The scenes of celebration at Meadow Lane were unforgettable, and I can relate to Colin's joy at seeing his kids' faces light up with excitement. It's moments like these that make being a football fan so special, and I can't wait to see what the team achieves in the National League Playoff Final against Chesterfield. As Ryan Raynor said, Notts County is more than just a football club - it's a source of joy, excitement, and community for all of us fans. I'm proud to support the Magpies, and I know that win or lose, our team will always have our support.

Guess Who? The Notts County Edition
This seems much harder. I’m guessing it’s Steve Finnan, although I don’t think he made 200 appearances for any of his clubs. Are you counting cup games?

From a two-goal deficit to Wembley Final: Notts County’s dramatic win through Aden Baldwin's eyes
Jodi Jones netting the winner for Notts was a superb moment. It thankfully prevented another lottery that is the penalty shootout. Aden Baldwin's brace and the goal from Jones rescued the win and what scenes followed! The club hasn't been as thrilled as that in decades, if not longer.

Notts County earns support from Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds, who aims to show support in promotion bid
If Ryan Reynolds were to attend Wembley to wish Notts County all the best, it would certainly be a kind gesture of support. Despite owning Wrexham, it would demonstrate that he cares about the team and its fans and wants to see them succeed.

Match Discussion: Play Off Semi-Final - The Wood (H)
If every Notts player puts in a good effort and works hard on Sunday, I am confident about the final outcome. The most important factor will be the officials. Notts can score goals, but it is important that the officials make the right decisions. If the game is well-officiated, I have no concerns. However, if the focus is on the officials rather than the game, it may be difficult for Notts to score. I hope it won't be like the Dagenham & Redbridge game.

Macaulay Langstaff and Les Bradd: A Relationship Built on Goals and History
Macaulay Langstaff is one of those rare players that we can just sit back and enjoy his time at Notts without fear of transfer speculation. It would be amazing if he could break into the top five all-time goalscorers for the club. Let’s show our support and cheer him on!

What Should Our Squad Look Like Next Season? A Breakdown of Key Players and Recommendation?
Notts has a lot of attacking options. One addition I would like to see is the arrival of Jodi Jones on a permanent basis. If Ruben Rodrigues leaves, Jones or Sam Austin could fill that void. Both would be decent replacements, but I hope he stays. Ruben has a chance to cement something at Notts, which might not work out for him if he leaves. Wishful thinking is that he stays. The defense needs further work. I would like to see another strong center back arrive and someone to continue to get the best out of Adam Chicksen. Signing Joel Taylor seemed a masterstroke by Notts as he helped get the most out of Chicksen. If the new left back is versatile, it would leave game minutes elsewhere when Chicksen is irreplaceable. I don’t think we’ve seen the last of Frank Vincent, but he needs to work harder to increase his game time.

Adam Chicksen: Luke Williams’ Influence Vital in Decision to Remain with Magpies
Adam Chicksen has had a remarkable season for Notts County and is dedicated to helping his teammates improve. He has decided to stay at the club for another two years, thanks in part to the leadership and values of his coach, Luke Williams. Frank Vincent has also been making a strong impression since returning from his loan spell. With such a strong team mentality, it’s no surprise that Notts County has been successful this season
