  1. I'm quite aligned with Williams' analysis. It's apparent that the team is on the cusp of unleashing some serious potential, but the 'devil is in the details,' as they say. Minute errors in judgement, slight pauses in decision-making, they all add up and slow things down. With time and increased practice sessions targeting these faults, I am optimistic we will be prepared for the upcoming matches.
  2. Optimistic, yet level-headed, Luke Williams’ approach to League Two is appropriate. Increasing intensity, understanding opponents' strategies, and maintaining an effective game plan design to both defend and attack, are key. I can't wait to see the strategies in play.
  3. Promotion is a realistic goal for our team. After such a hard-fought season, it's clear that we have the strength, skill, and drive to secure a top-three place. All the best, lads!
  4. Ian Richardson, a name that will forever be etched in the memory of Notts County's history. Despite the financial troubles at the club, he stuck around when he could have easily moved on because of his settled family. This shows loyalty and dedication of a mere sporting icon towards the club and fans.
  5. Hearing Tobi talk about his AFL reconstruction surgery was quite an eye opener. It's his strength and warrior-like spirit that he's been able to recover from such a procedure and return to the pitch with a bang. Can't wait to see more of him!
  6. Happy to hear the sense of excitement from Williams at having the fans back in the stadium. Can't wait to be a part of the atmosphere at Meadow Lane again.
  7. The entire Notts County community has done a fantastic job bouncing back and fighting for what they deserve, a rightful place at the English Football League!
  8. I couldn't agree more. Matty Palmer's contributions are reminiscent of the great Don Masson. A true gem for Notts County.
  9. I wouldn't say it feels like a dream, but it's certainly a vast improvement compared to the club's previous state. The Reedtz brothers have done an impeccable job restoring trust and stability to the club.
  10. This is a great step forward for our club. The addition of Dan Crowley can only have a positive impact on Notts. It will be exciting to see how he develops and grows with us, and how he contributes to our success. I have high hopes for his future with the club.
  11. Wouldn’t we all name Luke Williams as the best coach? However, we can tell it’s true just by the number of players who have responded to his coaching.
  12. Very enjoyable read. I do agree with the statements and opinions mentioned in the article. I think @Chris did a great job highlighting much of what Jim O’Brien brings and hopefully he will prefer life back in the Football League. A player like Jim should never have stepped down and I thank him for staying true to his word by staying and helping us back up.
  13. I would say he’s the 2nd or 3rd best captain Notts have had in the last 10 years. Some of his decisions could improve and so could his defending, but for what level we are at, he’s an excellent player. One of the best within our squad.
  14. I would certainly thank them and suggest discussing their vision for modernising the Meadow Lane stadium as an alternative talking point. We don’t need a new ground, but there is plenty of potential for improvements.
  15. We know from his days at Coventry that Jodi Jones is a good player. Why it didn’t work out at Oxford United, I can’t say, but it’s been our gain. I think he’s the type of player who prefers to enjoy his football and settle into a club. In a few years’ time, he could go from being a promotion hero to a club legend if he helps us back up to League One.
  16. This is the best news I’ve heard in a long time. Jodi Jones is a legend and he deserves to wear the black and white stripes. He was our best player last season and he’s only going to get better. He’s got pace, skill, vision and a killer instinct. He’s the perfect fit for our team and our style of play. Welcome back Jodi!
  17. That’s a great idea and I think it would make an excellent article. If you write it before reaching the milestone, it could go viral among Notts fans. 5,000 is a significant number of games. Would you like me to add the link to the EFL website? I’m curious to see which other teams have played more or fewer games than us.
  18. Back-to-back promotions would be an incredible achievement for Notts, but it won’t be easy. The competition is fierce, and it will take everything they’ve got to secure a top spot. But with their skill and dedication, Notts has what it takes to achieve back-to-back promotions and continue their success.
  19. Good guess, London lad that has played for Torquay and Bournemouth. That covers some distance and he fits quite well but it could be anyone born in London that has played for Notts.
  20. Here’s hoping that Jodi Jones opts to make his tenure at Notts a lasting one.
  21. It’s going to be interesting to see if the outstanding football can continue in League Two. Fans thought you couldn’t play attractive football in the National League and do well, but that’s been proven false. Who knows what next season holds for Notts?
  22. Aaron Nemane has been class all season. He’s really shone in the absence of Cal Roberts. It goes to show that losing your star man can allow someone else to step up and shine. Nemane has done just that and his performance against Chesterfield was superb.
  23. The outcome of the game is difficult to predict as it could go either way. However, Notts County has shown great potential throughout the season and if they play to their strengths, they should be able to come out on top and achieve the result that all the Magpies’ fans are eagerly anticipating.
  24. Take them seriously, be solid at the back and the rest will come. Reason Notts struggles against Eastleigh is because they're smarter to passing football at this level, they will disrupt play and allow it to settle only when it suits them.
  25. Sunderland might be a easier tie, that could motivate those Newcastle lads a bit more.
