  1. It’s great to see the hard work bearing fruit. The club has done a good job of promoting the season tickets and pushing them at every opportunity. It’s rewarding to see the numbers increasing. Fans don’t just start buying tickets out of the blue; it’s their loyalty and the prospect of a promising season that drives them.
  2. We’re currently a few players down, and I’d like to see an additional 3-4 players join. With Connell Rawlinson’s recent move to Chester, it seems likely that we’ll bring in a new centre-back. It’s also encouraging to see Aiden Stone battling for his position. It’s commendable that players don’t give up just because they’re not the current favourites. While I can’t see him surpassing Alex Bass, he does provide competition for Sam Slocombe and Tiernan Brooks. Rumours suggest he might be set for another loan move, which, if true, means he might have to wait another season before we consider him for the first team goalkeeper position. I’d also like to see another winger, a midfielder, and potentially a more attack-minded player in midfield.
  3. Slovakia needs to mature as well. Just because they lost doesn’t mean they should make a fuss about every minor incident. What about their manager pushing Declan Rice? That’s violent behaviour, which isn’t supposed to happen, yet it will likely go unpunished. I hate to say it, but England does seem to face stricter decisions against them.
  4. The critic doesn’t offer any real alternatives, only suggesting that Harry Kane shouldn’t play the full match. That seems odd to me. Kane should only be substituted if he’s not playing well, he’s hurt, or if the game plan requires it. Also, the remark about Serbia looking unlikely to score was quite amusing.
  5. The signing of Alex Bass is both good and exciting. He seems like a strong choice for our level, and the club has done well to secure him. I’m hopeful this will lead to more season tickets sold, as it’s clear our owners are committed to strengthening the squad. With the goalkeeper position now sorted, it’s a positive step towards helping the team grow.
  6. Even though I’m a season ticket holder, I won’t be attending. I’d rather stay at home or watch it somewhere else. Is there any news on whether Sky will be broadcasting the game? It would be a missed opportunity if they didn’t.
  7. Good luck to all the injured players. Is Tobi injured now? I haven’t seen him around the squad lately unless I’m mistaken. I think we would always struggle without Scott and Palmer, who are two very strong players.
  8. I didn’t manage to hear Luke Williams’ reaction to the game, but I’m hoping he was as pleased as we all were. Sometimes supporters can demand too much but after the bad form, no one can expect us to have outperformed Stockport and still lose, despite a late goal that came after their second. It was a very upbeat display, Jodi Jones was excellent once again.
  9. I applaud Luke Williams for his candidness throughout this interview. One can easily sense his dedication to the team and the game. Navigating a higher division is no joke and he acknowledges the inherent difficulties, setting realistic expectations, all the while commending those that show resilience and adaptability in the face of adversity. His anticipation of the challenge that Stockport County represents and his strategic approach emphasises his thoughtful leadership.
  10. The percentage seems impressive at first glance, but the problem is they haven’t explained how they arrived at this figure. They can’t base it on game highlights or live footage. Similarly, the fourth official’s reports can’t be considered in this context.
  11. I agree with Williams' call for assertive defensive play. Having seen the performance, we're far too soft. Let's aim to strike fear in the opposition, not the other way around.
  12. I reckon Macari has brought a brilliant dynamic to the team. His debut impacted him significantly, as he's stated in the interview. The lad’s developed and adapted, showing great character. Also, his commitment is unquestionable, having decided to sign a permanent deal with the club. Let's see how brilliantly his journey progresses with Notts.
  13. A big salute to all the fans who have attended every away game this season. They truly deserve some joy. We shouldn’t entirely dismiss our chances. All we need is to score a goal and prevent them from doing the same. It might seem unlikely, but we have players who can find the back of the net. If we can bring a positive approach to the game and defend well, anything is possible.
  14. Williams and Leivers' concerted effort to bring young players through the ranks could bode well for the club's progress. Reining in top-quality talent into the first team is no mean feat, but the determination to create a friendly, supportive environment for young players to flourish at Notts County speaks volumes about their vision. The right blend of experienced players like McGoldrick and upcoming stars like Sanderson could give the club a fresh outlook and impetus.
  15. I’ve seen far worse blunders. Not looking over your shoulder is a common mistake. At least the lad didn’t succumb to his own pressure and gave it a try. We had a much worse goalkeeper that season.
  16. If the BBC wants the public to keep paying for a TV licence, then there should be a reform. This should give the public more influence on their broadcasting decisions, including what is broadcasted, when, and how their budget is used.
  17. I’ll seriously consider this as I appreciate the site. I understand it needs support and money must be flowing into it. This level of quality doesn’t just happen.
  18. We showed terrific resilience considering the relentless pressure from Crawley's side. Despite sustaining a knock, David McGoldrick put up a tough fight, contributing significantly to today’s victory. He is a clear testament to the team’s relentless spirit and tenacity. To more wins and relentless pressing!
  19. Stories like Wendy's remind us why we love football: it goes beyond the pitch. That's what makes Notts County not just a club, but a family. And it's heartening to see the community get together to support a worthy cause.
  20. Over the moon with Notts County’s win! The lads showed real grit, fighting for every ball, making every tackle count, and never giving up. The midfield was controlled, the defence was solid as a rock in the second half, and our finishing were on fire. The roar of the crowd when the final whistle blew was deafening. This is what football is all about.
  21. Williams' recruitment strategy strikes me as very pragmatic. It's not just about signing players, it's about integrating them into our family- much respect for this mindfulness.
  22. It’s great that the changes have enhanced the menu, providing more functionality for site navigation. The introduction of mobile navigation was a positive step, and it seems to have been adopted elsewhere. The top navigation remaining on screen is a pleasant feature, as is the modification to the community section.
  23. It’s unfortunate to hear about the downtime and the problems that caused it. Hopefully, those responsible will move on and concentrate on their own lives, as there’s no justification for targeting PON. Best of luck to everyone, and thank you for resolving the issue.
  24. Luke Williams is correct in maintaining a balance between history and the present, as it’s easy to lose focus otherwise. I believe Notts stands a good chance of making the 5,000th game a memorable one. It’s all about concentrating on each game as it comes, putting in the effort, and leaving no stone unturned. Once the players step onto the field, they must give their all and hold nothing back.
  25. Growing up as a Notts County supporter, one thing that truly stirred my pride was our club's rich history. And now, to witness the 5000th EFL match, it just reaffirms that pride I feel. We're not just part of a club, we're a part of a storied legacy that has stood stoutly for decades. Regardless of the result in the match against Gillingham, the spirit of our legends reflected in our players will always be victorious!
