Who is your Man of the Match v Crawley?
It's great to have Scott Robertson back in the team. He's always looked like someone who could do well next to Matt Palmer. Seeing Robertson score gives me hope. It shows we might have more goal threats beyond the usual names.

Rod McDonald’s Form: Too Good to Drop?
Sonny Aljofree is stronger at defending than Lewis Macari. Macari offers more going forward, so it depends on what the team needs most. Lucas Ness is harder to judge. He’s had injuries and hasn’t really settled into the side yet. Jacob Bedeau is tough to leave out, even when he’s not at his best. He’s got a presence that’s hard to replace. Rod McDonald has looked very comfortable. I think Martin Paterson might move him back to the right side of the centre backs. It would be a shame if that made the defence less balanced. McDonald has done really well and deserves credit.

Martin Paterson Targets Fifth Unbeaten Game as Notts County Prepare for Gillingham
Good to hear Jodi is fine, because we really need his creativity and direct play. That’s been a worry since he went off during the international break. Paterson’s update settles that concern. Also, it’s noticeable how he respects everyone at the club, even talking about Roberto’s departure with balance. It shows he’s professional and understands his role. When he says his job is simply to coach the team, it’s clear he won’t get distracted by off-field matters. For me, the most encouraging part is how he sees the Gillingham game. Instead of fearing them, he sees it as the perfect challenge. That sort of mindset spreads belief. Hopefully we can prove ourselves against the leaders.

Important Lifeline Update
The impact of the Lifeline’s initiatives goes beyond financial contributions. it’s about community and ensuring Notts County remains competitive both on and off the pitch. Enhancements like the high-performance gym are game-changers, giving our players the tools needed to excel. Fans can appreciate smoother matchday entries with updated turnstiles, highlights of the club’s dedication to improving fan experiences. Equally impressive is Lifeline's proven legacy in enriching the club's infrastructure, a testament to what passionate support can achieve. It’s good to know that every contribution, big or small, collectively drives the club forward.

New signing Barry Cotter
It’s a good sign that we’re adding players who can cover areas where we might get unlucky with injuries. That kind of planning helps keep us strong across the season. It also makes me wonder if we might be switching up the formation a bit. One thing that stands out is how attacking these signings are. That could make things more exciting going forward. Once we’ve sorted the keeper situation, I’m hopeful we’ll play with more creativity. It feels like we’re trying to be braver and not just go backwards all the time. Let’s hope it works.

if you had the money to get involved in owning a football club
I have often thought about how tempting it would be to buy Nottingham Forest, just to prove a point after the way they treated Nigel Doughty. It would also be about restoring the balance and making Notts County the top club in the city again. Still, I don’t see any sense in throwing money at football. Too many people get involved for the wrong reasons, and they often take the credit when things go well. When they don’t, it turns sour quickly, even if your intentions are good. It’s not something I’d want to put myself through. I’d much rather spend the money improving Nottingham and supporting causes linked to the Magpies.

Congratulations Alassana Jatta & David McGoldrick
He deserves it. His form may have dipped towards the end of the season, but he maintained an impressive level for most of it. Along with David McGoldrick, he kept us pushing towards the top with their touches of magic.

Maï Traoré to Notts
He looks like an interesting addition to the team. With talk of his speed and ability, it should prove to be a benefit. I see that Stuart Maynard says he will need time, so I hope nobody is quick to judge Mai Traore. However, he will get the respect he deserves from us. I am sure he will prove to be a popular addition, just like Eli Sam did.

Does Notts have an emergency Striker?
Thankfully, we shouldn't need to rely on a player to fill in as a striker, but as others before me, there will be options within the squad. If we are without an out-and-out striker, someone will surely step up. Could this be how Matty Platt gets his first goal for the club? Joking aside, someone more suited like Jodi Jones would do fine.

Jordan Chiedozie
Horrible news, hopefully the coma can be treated, and he won't be in it for long. Scary thoughts are coma can last from days to years. I wish him well!

How Curtis Edwards’ Journey Took Him from the Northern League to League 2 Stardom
Fantastic write-up about Curtis Edwards' journey from almost not making it to playing against Arsenal in the Europa League. Now that he is with us, he will be part of what drives the club forward, and his experience offers the squad a lot more than just his background story.

New Faces, Big Ambitions: How Notts County Are Preparing for the Run-In
Really enjoyed this breakdown of the squad. Maynard’s patience with signings is refreshing, not just throwing players in for the sake of it. Traoré’s signing is exciting, but I love that there’s no expectation for him to hit the ground running straight away. Squad depth is looking stronger, and McDonald stepping up has been vital. Good to see young players like Whittaker and Johnson getting recognition too. If we keep up this level of organisation and belief, we could be in for a strong finish to the season.

Stuart Maynard Hails McGoldrick’s “Infectious” Work Rate After Notts’ Fourth Away Win
That first-half performance was absolutely top-drawer. We took control after the early pressure and looked so confident on the ball. McGoldrick’s goal was pure class, and Jatta’s movement caused them problems all game. Thought we should have had at least one more before half-time, but credit to the lads for seeing it out. Gillingham made a fight of it late on, but the defence stood strong. Four away wins in a row is no joke, this squad is really coming together now.

Cedwyn Scott leaves Notts for Carlisle United
I'm disappointed to be honest, but I hope the undisclosed fee is enough to bring in someone committed to helping us achieve promotion to League One. I wish Cedwyn Scott all the best at Carlisle. It's going to be interesting to see how they end up at the end of this season.

Happy Birthday Neil Warnock

Match Discussion: FA Cup - The Posh (A)
@Robbie Spot on about them being a threat. It’ll be crucial to not give away cheap possession in dangerous areas, or we’ll be punished. I think if we can frustrate them early on, the crowd might get on their back, and that could work in our favour. Like you said, it’s all about taking our chances when they come!
