Fantastic player! I have many brilliant memories of seeing Brian Stubbs play for Notts.

The club started signings to please the moaners on Twitter who kept asking if there was any signings, if you asked me it seems the club rushed and struggled to recruit players in. Kevin Nolan has signed some decent players, he just needs to have faith in them and give opportunities.

Jonathan Forte is a good player, he will come good as will Jon Stead. He just needs more time!

I do also agree with what is outlined by Joe and I would hope we can see some players shipped out at least on loan.

I feel sorry for him, as it does not help sitting youngsters on the bench and we hardly found him a suitable loan arrangement.

I cannot say I am all that bothered, his best years are behind him and this was the case last time he had worn a black & white shirt.

He has contributed but little, good attitude and a proper footballer.

Yet we do not need any uncertainly, so for that reason if he wants to leave, Notts should make it known that he can because he can focus on who can be apart of this seasons squad.

Time for Notts to review their contract polices I think because I can see him leaving, which would be a shame.

Northampton and Wycombe are off to a flyer so far, they have impressed me. Still, it's early and if they can keep it up is to be seen. I agree with Joe, I thought we would have been up there but 2 games in and at 9th place isn't bad.

I expect Mansfield to try and keep the game scrappy.

I hope the football Ricardo wants us to play manages to shine through, on the back of two great performances our confidence must be sky high.

Injuries, suspensions or absentee players are not a worry. Notts will put on a display that all the home fans have wanted and I am sure we will go home happy.

The defence looks better now the squad has settled, Moniz must have been trying to keep his options open so that he could access the players better.

Roy is by far the most suitable candidate, I do feel its important that its given to someone who not only connects with the players but the fans. Its also good that the captain understands the downs and ups, so with him being with us during relegation, it might encourage him to push the players more positively.

It appears to be doing very, a slow start mind but it does take time for negotiations to start, then for it to lead anywhere.
