Vote for Notts County's 2022/23 Player of the Season now!
I wish the club wouldn't publish brief and rushed content like what they put out on the official site. I appreciated reading this article for the reasons I previously stated. I have reduced my selection to three players, and I will make my decision after Saturday's match on which one will receive it.

Match Discussion: Game 44 - The Cardinals (H)
In the first half, I don't reckon either side played all that bad. To be fair, Woking didn't truly get on top of Notts. It seemed that both teams took a bit of time to feel each other out. They tried to be more direct using their number 14 to create chances. We were more patient on the ball, but I still feel that Notts had the best chances of both halves. They didn't seem to cause much trouble on goal. I can't recall them having any real chances of concern. Now, this may be my memory playing tricks on me at my age, but I reckon both teams gave a good account of themselves. It just took Notts a little longer to bring out their true class. Once the first goal went in, it was good night Woking. They didn't stand a chance against Notts County's superior skills. Overall, it was a decent match, and I enjoyed watching it.

Match Discussion: Game 40 - The Iron (H)
Although Scunthorpe United may appear to be an easy target, the reality is often more complex. This season's football has been more aesthetically pleasing, but the team performs better when they avoid attempting to pass the ball into the net. Luke Williams, therefore, must communicate a clear message to his players to remain focused on the game and avoid receiving unnecessary yellow cards, regardless of the available options.

Match Discussion: Game 11 - The Glovers (A)
A win for Notts could make all the difference right now, if the players work hard enough and want it. It should be enough to get it across the line, Yeovil are nowhere near as good as they have been in the past.

Match Discussion: Game 9 - The Cardinals (H)
My prediction would be 1-0 to notts, not the most exciting game but enough to keep fans happy.

Notts County's new wing back Joel Taylor feels part of the squad already
If he clicks on the pitch, he could be a big, big, big signing.
-
Notts County winger Callum Roberts extends his stay until 2023
It's probably the best contract renewal in the last 10 years or

Match Discussion: Game 4 - The U's (A)
Away games is an area where we could do with getting the most out of. Kyle Wootton is in great form. It's just a loss if Cal Roberts can't start due to fatigue.

Match Discussion: Game 3 - The Bees (H)
Fantastic performance and result. It looked like Barnet might have made an amazing comeback, but the players did what was needed.

Notts County issue 2019/2020 retained list
Tom Crawford hardly played under Neal Ardley, Regan Booty has been injured a fair length of time. I am not surprised by the list. I did feel Michael Doyle might have had his last season though.

Match Discussion: Game 39 - The Spitfires (H)
It feels like 09/10 all over again. The squad are doing well, it would be a shame if the coronavirus caused performance issues because the team look like they want to play and score for fun. Once the third went in yesterday, it was game over. Credit to Eastleigh but it shows those who went to the opening fixture just how much the clubs improved over time. Roberts and Wootton look something special.

Match Discussion: Game 37 - The Shots (H)
I'm not sure about the changes but I do feel Notts can win 3-0.

Coronavirus
Everyone has to play their part in defeating this virus, keeping cleaning is only part of the problem. When out in public everyone has to do their best to not spread it.

Match Discussion: Game 36 - Monkey Hangers (A)
Worst possible result and it looks like the call about a meltdown was spot on. Another day Notts could have won. Neal Ardley just needs to demand better from players during the games, as its a poor display not to give them a game. I just want to see 100% given and I wonder how many can say they did that.
-
Match Discussion: Game 35 - The Cardinals (H)
I think Notts will win 2-1 if the game goes ahead, it would be disappointing if it doesn't. Notts needs to call it off at the earliest possibility.
-
Match Discussion: FA Trophy - The Glovers (A)
Very good win having gone down to 9 men, it sounded like Yeovil could have caused some more trouble.
-
Match Discussion: Game 33 - The Spireites (H)
Great performance, we just need to pinch ourselves and bear in mind that we can struggle at times. Fantastic finishing.

Match Discussion: Game 33 - The Spireites (H)
Chesterfield will try to make it difficult for Notts, I can't see them giving us an inch on the pitch. For this reason I think it will be a tight game, with a single goal.
-
Match Discussion: Game 32 - Daggers (A)
I don't fancy the game myself, I think it will be cold and tedious. I'm hoping Notts will be up for it, Callum Roberts and Kristian Dennis would be nice to see starting.
-
Match Discussion: Game 31 - The Whites (H)
Notts are codependent on teams that give them space, I thought Dover seemed very organised. Dirty, but organised.
-
Match Discussion: FA Trophy - Daggers (H)
Winning does create a strong minded environment, I will be there Saturday and I hope some of the younger fans go.

Under the floodlights at Meadow Lane is the perfect way to start 2020 at home.
Good write up.

Match Discussion: Game 29 - The Magpies (A)
It's a cliche saying, but you have to respect the point. On a different day Notts could have taken them all, but it's been a busy spell. Avoiding defeat is a good point.
-
Match Discussion: Game 28 - The Moors (A)
A determined win by Notts, the goal was well worked too.
-
Match Discussion: Game 16 - Daggers (H)
I will be watching from the Pavis, I am a little nervous. I would take another draw TBH.
