  1. It's heartening to see coaches like Williams who pay homage to previous managers. His disappointment at Steve Cooper's departure shows his humility and respect for his colleagues. It ultimately heightens our respect for him too.
  2. All we can wish for is a victory. If Notts perform to their potential, it should result in an exciting match. I hope Walsall put up a good fight, as one-sided football might please some, but I enjoy a competitive game where both teams are equally strong.
  3. Hello, welcome to the site. You should find PoN to be a good place to join in @Callumpie.
  4. After going through this preview, it’s clear that the excitement is building up. The article highlights the strong bond between Dan Crowley and Jodi Jones, two players whose teamwork and talent could be crucial in this match. I’m eager to see how Langstaff tackles Walsall’s defence. With so much at stake, it’s all about who can handle the tension and still play their usual game. Everyone has to give their all to win this.
  5. Jim is consistently committed, always giving 100%. He may not always be at his best on the pitch, but you can’t fault his effort. His goal was a real treat to watch, the kind of goal that gets you jumping out of your seat with excitement.
  6. Clearly, some serious soul-searching is needed both on and off the pitch. The team's fragile defensive stance and lack of innovative moves are factors that must be dealt with urgently. This analysis is a true reflection of its struggles. But all said and done, I believe in the Magpies and their ability to bounce back stronger.
  7. With all the rumours flying about, good on Luke Williams for staying focused on the task at hand. The man is dedication personified.
  8. Football can be a fickle game, and loyalty is often hard to come by. But Luke Williams has shown that there are individuals who value their relationships with the club and supporters over anything else. His refusal to move to Oxford United despite the temptations further solidifies his commitment to Notts County.
  9. No doubt, the disparity between National League and League Two can be a significant challenge. However, with strategic moves like bringing in Gosling, the gap can surely be closed. As fans, we eagerly anticipate the remarkable impact Gosling will make on the team's overall performance. A step in the right direction, I agree.
  10. Notts demonstrated their capability to secure a victory against the formidable Crawley Town, a fact that speaks volumes in itself. The outcome has filled me with joy and satisfaction, as the team achieved the necessary result. This success promises an additional payday, providing us with the opportunity to bolster our ranks come January, should we decide to do so. Despite this, I remain confident in the depth of our current squad.
  11. McGoldrick was indeed the shining star of the match. What a fantastic representation of a never-give-up attitude! His importance in the pivotal moments only re-emphasizes his value in the squad. His pace and acute sense of game dynamics undoubtedly make him a force to reckon with. Here's hoping that he continues his spirited performance and helps Notts County conquer new heights.
  12. Staggering work from Notts, incredibly proud! The rewards of their relentless training and preparation really show through the performances.
  13. While the result wasn’t as hoped, Williams’ comments highlight football’s essence: passion, perseverance, and teamwork. Notts County’s resilience is praiseworthy, demonstrating their readiness to tackle challenges. The role of nearly 3,000 travelling Notts supporters is significant, reflecting the fanbase’s love and loyalty. Williams’ recognition and appreciation of their unwavering support is heartening.
  14. I am thrilled for the upcoming match against MK Dons. Despite our recent promotion, we have been holding our own and showing that we belong in this league. On the other hand, MK Dons are looking to bounce back from a setback and reestablish themselves as a top team. With both teams having different motivations and strategies coming into this match, it’s sure to be an exciting contest. May the best team win! Come on you Pies!
  15. MK Dons aren’t undefeatable, but they are a good side. I think it will be a good gauge to see where we stand compared to another team in very good form, both home and away. If we take the lead, it must be defended and protected to the best of our ability because they can get back into matches.
  16. I fully agree with John Bostock. The end game is the goal. Push on, Notts. You Pies!
  17. Today was a test of patience for the lads, and us supporters too. The Shrimps were on the backfoot almost throughout, relying heavily on their defence to get at least one point out of what was clearly a lacklustre offensive display. You have to accept such tactics as part of the game, especially in away fixtures. Our lads tried their best to break through the barricade but fell slightly short. That being said, it's only game 3 and we already saw a lot of positives to build on. The defence was meticulous in its duty, ensuring a clean sheet. And while the attack was yet to fire on all cylinders, their effort cannot be undermined. With a few tactical tweaks from Williams, we have every reason to expect a much more fruitful result in the next matchup.
  18. I have faith in McGoldrick as well. His experience will definitely make a difference in the game.
  19. I don’t read too much into friendlies; a draw will suit both teams, and now the real work begins.
  20. This is a welcomed piece of news. It's evident that Tipton has the potential for great things and our beloved Notts would offer the perfect nurturing grounds for his development. With his versatility, he'd provide fresh tactical options and dynamism to our set up. Let's back him up and witness him flourish.
  21. I'm really impressed by McGoldrick's mindset. His profound understanding of the game, the importance of fitness, and continuous learning is truly inspiring. Also, his willingness to mentor the younger players is commendable. Season's looking promising already.
  22. Yes, Tony Agana is a name that fans of the 90s will remember.
  23. Absolutely brilliant performance from Tobi Adebayo-Rowling. You can see how much he's been missed in the team. His enthusiasm on the field, combined with his technical prowess, creates such a palpable energy in the game. It's not just about the goals, but how he contributes to the overall dynamism and spirit of the team. Welcome back, Tobi!
  24. Ian’s contribution beyond the pitch to Notts County’s Football in the Community programme showcased his commitment to the sport and his community. What I find commendable is not just his footballing skills but his ability to use his position to make a social impact. His charity run is definitely a testament to that.
  25. It's brilliant to hear such stories of dedication and loyalty from fans like Paul and Evan Linley. Their passion for the game and their club is infectious; it's wonderful to see how football has a positive impact on families' bonding experiences.
