Poll: Who is your Notts Man of the match v Gillingham?
Well done to Pride of Nottingham’s Man of the Match, Jacob Bedeau. He played brilliantly and truly deserved the recognition. His performance was outstanding and made a big difference in the game. Congratulations, Jacob!

Poll: Who is your Notts Man of the match v Gillingham?
Yes, I would say Jacob Bedaeu deserves my vote.

MK Dons boss targeted by Carlisle Utd
I think he’s being linked solely because of what @menzinho mentioned, but I wouldn’t think he would leave a job he hasn’t been involved in for long. Then again, he might see it as safer with MK Dons being tipped to win the league before the season started. Maybe he would do better in charge of a team like Carlisle? I don’t know. I don’t think we will know if it’s true until something happens.

How Notts County’s New Signings Are Transforming the Squad for League Two Success
It’s great to see Notts County making smart moves in the transfer window. The new players have settled in well, and the team looks strong. The defence is solid, and the midfield has depth. The owners seem to have a good plan, and I feel positive about our chances this season. Let’s hope we keep up the good work and push for promotion!

Most League goals from open play
Impressive! It shows how dominant Notts can be at scoring goals from open play. It would be great to see someone firing home free kicks. I always love seeing them fly into the back of the net.

Folkestone v Billericay sending off incident
If I hadn’t seen it, I wouldn’t have believed it. I don’t think the player should have fouled the keeper, but I do think a yellow card could have been given.

Welcome To Notts George Abbott
He looks like a strong loan signing, doesn’t he? George Abbott should become a lot more confident with more time to settle and plenty more minutes. I think it will be interesting to see how Scott Robertson fits in because Abbott would make my starting team ahead of Robertson currently. I know Robertson is out at the moment, but even when fit, I would choose Abbott.

Match Discussion: Game 5 - The Owd Reds (H)
The main point for me is how confident the team played. They were not worried or less creative. There were complaints about backward passing, but this is happening less now. Going forward, at least against Accrington, Notts looked determined to show their quality.

Congratulations BromPie
How do you check? Well done to you, @BromPie, on your milestone here on PoN.

Match Discussion: Game 4 - The Robins (A)
No complaints here. Even if it had ended 1-1, I’d still be happy because there are plenty of signs that the club is heading in the right direction.

Welcome to Notts, Jevani Brown.
I welcome him and hope he enjoys his time at Meadow Lane. I’d want any player to have this experience, and if he helps Notts, that's even better. He’s been punished, apologised, and I believe him. No one should keep holding it against him. People make mistakes, and while it’s unfortunate, only he is still being judged for it. I don't think a footballer would risk their career by drinking and becoming violent. It's in the past, and people should accept that and move on. Especially if you don’t know all the facts.

Alassana Jatta: In The Goals.
Alassana Jatta has done well for Notts. He didn’t need much time to settle, and that stood out to me. I don’t worry about goals; Jatta and others will get them. I am pleased he has become such an important part of this Notts County squad.

Where are they now : Kevin Nicholson
I like that Football Radar are data-driven. I think it has played a part in the success we have experienced so far. Interesting info mentioned in the messages.

Straight Red Cards For Serious Foul Play
Terrible challenge. There was always the chance that he wouldn’t get the ball. The Gateshead player had plenty of chances to get rid of the ball. He was under little pressure and made the pass well before Kelly Evans flew in.

Wangiri Phone scam
The scam calls are terrible and very annoying! I wish more would be done to stop them.

Kit clash Truro v Dorking
The referee allowed the teams to start without asking one of them to turn their shirt inside out? Bizarre.

Match Discussion: League Cup - The Shrews (A)
I think the lads will be hurting enough without us adding to it. If some fans moan about it, it puts a cloud over future games and is just uncalled for negativity. I don’t get why some fans are like that. To go 2-0 up is a credit to the team, and to pull it back to 3-3 after going down shows fight from the team. It’s not ideal or perfect, but it’s not worth spoiling the positive opening day we had against a difficult Tranmere.

Notts Alumni: Jeff Astle
He had a real talent for football, that’s for sure. A brilliant player, adored by fans everywhere, not just those of the teams he played for. He’s a legend at West Brom, and rightly so for all he helped them achieve. I remember him playing for Notts very well. He was one of my favourites.

Players Have Reported For Preseason Training
What’s next, a video of them back at the training ground? That would certainly kick-start the excitement for the new season!

thoughts on how the notts team is developing?
In my view, it’s commendable that Notts are prioritising depth and quality. All the signings have been first-rate, and I reckon a few more additions would round off the squad nicely. However, I have a hunch that we might not see those players who are listed for transfer leave. Negotiating salaries is a simpler task when one is without a club. If you’re eager to sign a player but can’t match their current wages, making a move becomes a tad more challenging.

Defender Rod McDonald Joins Notts
Every successful team has a touch of experience in their ranks, and with the departure of Jim O’Brien, it seems crucial to recruit someone who has previously achieved promotion and brings that experience. Welcome to San Sirrel, also known as Meadow Lane, Rod McDonald.

Incoming, new goalkeeper
It’s good to have a keeper like Alex Bass who has a lot to offer. I do feel for Aiden Stone, though; he didn’t seize his opportunity. With Sam Slocombe’s injury issues, Tiernan Brooks could be the right backup. Brooks might still get game time this season, and having experienced players is always beneficial.
