  1. I get that he didn’t want to carry on after having stuff thrown at him. But the way it’s being shown, it’s as if he was physically hit. In reality, it was just objects, which isn’t right, but this kind of behaviour might be usual. I reckon his choice to make a fuss and hold up the game was just him playing the victim. He should have been professional, letting the stewards and police do their work while he did his. Not doing his job is a bit daft, especially as there’s no photos or videos showing any real harm to him.

  2. What a fantastic acquisition! This appears to be an excellent signing, was the concern necessary? If this works out, we’ll be in a good position. I’m absolutely thrilled with the signing. Despite being 33, he brings a wealth of experience and with his role further up, he should be similar to when we signed John Bostock last season. To some extent, even David McGoldrick. It’s a valuable addition, even if it’s just for a month.

  3. Italy has some outstanding players, but they’re not spread across the field and are now quite average as a nation. They’ve relied on their older and ageing players for too long, and now they’re paying the price. England looked impressive, but we usually do when it comes to qualifying.

  4. The changes are nice, very attractive and useful. I’m a fan of the mobile themes; they’re the best for navigating such a site. I’ve noticed that all EFL sites now have bottom navigation, which seems to be a trend, but PON’s is by far the best implemented.

  5. Some are behaving as if we’re at the bottom of the league, which we’re not. We’re in second place. While some suggest that fans got carried away, I don’t agree with this, at least not on here. Fans simply rallied behind the club’s winning streak and it’s a wake-up call for the club. Gillingham may pose a challenge, but we shouldn’t fear them. Underestimating them could lead to a game like the one against Colchester, but Notts has goals and can keep clean sheets. It all comes down to staying focused and working hard. I foresee the game ending in a draw, with complaints about it being dull.

  6. I’m thrilled about the match taking place at Meadow Lane. I’d be let down if it were elsewhere, but really, we should just be content with the first round. The league, particularly our current form, is of utmost concern, but a cup match could boost morale and help us get back on track.

  7. Notts fell apart, I completely agree with what @Chris said. We sadly missed Jodi Jones, but where was Will Randall? This match could have been a good opportunity to see his contribution but we just collapsed. Hats off to David McGoldrick for his efforts, he seemed keen to make a difference and not many players can claim they performed at this level.
