I think Craig Short was unfortunate during his time here. Many blamed him for dismantling the team that got us promoted, but I believe those decisions were made by others before he even took the job.
-
I also like the uniqueness of our team, but I wish we had a song to sing when the players enter the field, like many top teams do.

What a fantastic acquisition! This appears to be an excellent signing, was the concern necessary? If this works out, we’ll be in a good position. I’m absolutely thrilled with the signing. Despite being 33, he brings a wealth of experience and with his role further up, he should be similar to when we signed John Bostock last season. To some extent, even David McGoldrick. It’s a valuable addition, even if it’s just for a month.

It’s encouraging to see things gradually returning to normal. I wouldn’t stress about the break taken. We all need them occasionally. There’s been consistent progress, and the site does seem to load much quicker. I initially thought the new server made a substantial difference, but the optimisation has elevated things to a whole new level.

Just jump straight in.

Not much time left, let’s aim for a positive outcome but more importantly, a strong performance. I’m hoping we start with the best possible squad, including John Bostock.

Italy has some outstanding players, but they’re not spread across the field and are now quite average as a nation. They’ve relied on their older and ageing players for too long, and now they’re paying the price. England looked impressive, but we usually do when it comes to qualifying.

It appears fantastic, and if it was painted without stencils, it deserves even more praise. It will be a pleasure to see it as I pass by. I’m not a fan of the colour the Navi painted itself as it’s quite jarring, but this helps.

The awful player that was Tom Williams is a MAGnet.

The changes are nice, very attractive and useful. I’m a fan of the mobile themes; they’re the best for navigating such a site. I’ve noticed that all EFL sites now have bottom navigation, which seems to be a trend, but PON’s is by far the best implemented.

Some are behaving as if we’re at the bottom of the league, which we’re not. We’re in second place. While some suggest that fans got carried away, I don’t agree with this, at least not on here. Fans simply rallied behind the club’s winning streak and it’s a wake-up call for the club. Gillingham may pose a challenge, but we shouldn’t fear them. Underestimating them could lead to a game like the one against Colchester, but Notts has goals and can keep clean sheets. It all comes down to staying focused and working hard. I foresee the game ending in a draw, with complaints about it being dull.

Most obscure? Duncan Jupp???

MK Dons are an artificial club with no rightful place in the Football League. AFC Wimbledon are the authentic team, and Graham Alexander’s dismissal won’t greatly impact them. MK Dons, however, would be fortunate to find a suitable replacement.

I’m thrilled about the match taking place at Meadow Lane. I’d be let down if it were elsewhere, but really, we should just be content with the first round. The league, particularly our current form, is of utmost concern, but a cup match could boost morale and help us get back on track.

Let’s bring PON back to its former glory before the disturbance, showing that we are a resilient community worth the time and involvement of Notts fans.

Notts fell apart, I completely agree with what @Chris said. We sadly missed Jodi Jones, but where was Will Randall? This match could have been a good opportunity to see his contribution but we just collapsed. Hats off to David McGoldrick for his efforts, he seemed keen to make a difference and not many players can claim they performed at this level.

Linesman refused to do his job

I get that he didn’t want to carry on after having stuff thrown at him. But the way it’s being shown, it’s as if he was physically hit. In reality, it was just objects, which isn’t right, but this kind of behaviour might be usual. I reckon his choice to make a fuss and hold up the game was just him playing the victim. He should have been professional, letting the stewards and police do their work while he did his. Not doing his job is a bit daft, especially as there’s no photos or videos showing any real harm to him.
