Good evening all. It's been hot today but a little cooler than yesterday. It's still 79 deg F in the house at 9:45pm. It's going to be hot like that for a few days with the house bricks still very warm. All the fans are blazing away again which makes it a little less uncomfortable. Has anyone been watching the Live Aid footage on the BBC. I taped some of the day 40 years ago, Still got the tape but don't know whether it still works. Highlight for me was the Dire Straits concert with Guest Eric Clapton. Pleased to see an all British pairing won the Wimbledon Mens doubles title for the first time since 1936. Today's U 18s game against Clifton ended 1:1.

No worries @super_ram you haven't upset Mrs Robbie. & yes, she's a native New Yorker & she's a New York Mets Baseball team fan. But she doesn't like American Football. She used to go to Mets games with her family before we met. I knew some of the Baseball terms but Jumbotron I didn't know.

Notts trying to pass out from the back in a dangerous way led to a corner that led to the German side's fourth goal. The Kaiserslautern players are first to the ball on most occasions. Notts are limited to going long now & losing possession. Lots of work for the Notts Head Coach to do on this showing.

Half time Kaiserslautern 3 Notts 0Looked to me Notts hadn't turned up in the first 20 minutes. They were very sloppy & reminded me of the problems we had last season. Why not try four at the back The positives are that Notts are trying to play football & look pacy when they attack. The big downer at the end of the half was Cotter's stupid tackle from behind that go him sent off. It has ruined the game as a spectacle unfortunately. Need to show their character now & avoid conceding another goal at least.

The match begins but Notts conceded within the first minute. A terrible attempted header back to our goalie by Reynolds let's Kaiserslautern in.
