Now the "King" has been anointed how about another challenge by trying out the "Connections" & "Strands" games?

And here's the first lesson. Kick it long or drop kick it long my son. It's a lot safer & it's a lot smarter. The great Goalkeepers of the past, Bonetti, Sprake, Wilson, Banks, Clemence & Shilton kicked it long most of the time.

Just a reminder the poll closes at 9pm on Monday evening.

Matt Dennis has taken an early lead for the Man of the Match award. Who is your Man of the Match? Still time to get your vote in.

IT'S MATCHDAY.

Good point @gtownjohnno Griffiths hasn't been given a chance since the time he impressed in the pre season games.

@Wheelbarrow repair man Listening to MP's post match presser he did seem to be frustrated that Notts haven't brought in additional players up to this point. I can understand his frustration because the Club have left it very late to get replacements in. I also think it's important to state that we still have players in the squad that MP hasn't given a chance to show what they can do like Will Jarvis, Mai Traoré, Jack Hinchy & Curtis Edwards.

@Wheelbarrow repair man If Jatta goes to Mansfield he'd probably do quite well under Nigel Clough. Notts certainly need to make the right decision very quickly with the transfer window running out. I think Dennis could turn out to be an inspired signing. He just needs another fellow striker to either play behind him or in front of him or act as substitute when necessary if Jatta goes.

Notts have certainly been unlucky with players suffering long term injuries over recent years. One player that has been particularly unlucky is Lucas Ness, who has showed us in glimpses that he is a useful defender with several good performances to his name, when he has had a chance to play.
