It's been a Sunny but cold morning here. Some good news. It's going to get warmer going into the weekend, with temperatures up to 15C according to the MET Office. News about that Plane Crash in Canada. It's a miracle that everyone survived although there has been 18 injured of which 3 passengers have been left in a critical condition. The authorities will be trying to find out why the Plane flipped over on landing. There is speculation that it was a gust of wind. What happened was certainly a very unusual occurrence.

You are probably right. We may not know for sure, but Luke may have had something to do with Richard making the move to Swansea.

Seems a bit of a coincidence Richard is terminated at Notts & on the same day within hours, Luke is terminated at Swansea.

@Fan of Big Tone I've never liked flying myself. I can remember going over to the States on a 747 & looking out the window one of the engines were shaking, & I thought it shouldn't be doing that. On one of the flights back on another 747 we had a lot of turbulence on several different occasions during the flight. When that sort of thing happens your just at the mercy of the skill of the pilot, mother nature, & hope the plane isn't damaged.

I think sometimes being a Head Coach can be a thankless task sometimes. I heard a report that Luke had lost the dressing room, I don't know whether it was true or just a rumour, but it does make the Job much harder if that happens. Like I said, Luke will move on & learn from the experience. He'll get another appointment before long. It may even be back in League 2.

It is a good article. It's good to read that Didzy is in talks with the club about his future once his contract runs out. Whether Notts get promoted or not, I still see Didzy having much to give if he extended his contract for another year.

Just looking forward to the match against Colchester Tuesday evening & hope that Notts can get back to winning ways. Sad to hear that Luke Williams has been dismissed at Swansea. Very strange that the powers that be let him go after appointing Richard Montague to support him. Heard there's been another plane crash, this time in Toronto airport Canada. A Delta Airlines commuter plane with around 80 on board flipped over on landing. Some people injured.

Bit of a embarrassment for Richard. He moved to Swansea to work with a Head Coach he knew & had worked with successfully. Now he has to look for a new HC & hope that it's the right choice. It's not the best start for him at a new club.

The grass is not always greener on the other side.This has been coming for a while. I'm sure it won't be long before Luke gets another job, but I wonder if he regrets leaving Notts? Trouble is, it was going the same way for him at Notts, because he couldn't stop the run of bad results at Notts either.

This will be a tough game against Colchester who are on an impressive six game unbeaten run, which includes an impressive home win against top of the table Walsall. Notts will need to be at their best against a side that has former Forest striker Lyle Taylor leading their attack & is currently their top scorer. It should be an entertaining game because Colchester won't come to the lane to sit back & let Notts dictate the play. Notts will be hoping that Jones, McGoldrick & Whitaker will be fit enough to play, as they were missed against Port Vale. Key areas as far as I'm concerned will be in defence midfield & upfront where Notts will need to be clinical & take their chances when they present themselves. A win is an absolute must on Tuesday evening. Notts must try to win as many of the nine remaining home games as they can. My prediction is a win after a hard fought game. I will say 2:0 or 3:1 Notts.
