  1. Sad news that Cedwyn has left Notts and joined Carlisle United for an undisclosed fee. Cedwyn will always be remembered for his part in getting Notts promoted back to the football league. Him scoring that final penalty at Wembley under extreme pressure will never be forgotten. I wish him good luck at Carlisle & I'm sure he'll do a great job for them.
  2. In the latest set of matches for the old firm Rangers drew and Celtic won. So Celtic go further ahead at the top of the Scottish Premier League. Can Celtic be stopped? Doesn't look like it.
  3. Good Morning All. We had some snow this morning but most of it has now melted, so at least around here we have not had the amount of snowfall that was predicted. We do have a flood alert in the Town though. I was a little annoyed last night after visiting the local hospital with a relative. We were only there for an hour but was charged £8 for parking.. You have to pay at a machine inside the hospital when you leave and the car park has cameras fitted that take your reg number, but the receipt said that my car had been there since 6am rather than the 5pm when we arrived. I was given an email address to appeal the charge, but I'm told it could be up to thirty days before a decision is made. Apparently, there has been lots of complaints of overcharging. Sorry for the rant but Hospital Car parks are certainly a money making industry nowadays. Anyone else had problems with hospital charging too much?
  4. Your Monday Afternoon Weather
  5. Up to date League 2 table on 5/01/25 after Crewe's win over Bromley.
  6. Well done @super_ram Looks like it was jumping in the snow
  7. I was going to suggest that. Would have to be a big one.
  8. It certainly looks strange because the pattern changes further up the path.
  9. Tried to look on Google. The foot prints appear not to be made by, A small Deer. A Hare. A Rabbit. A Fox. A Cat. Or a Badger. The mystery deepens.
  10. I think we saw another very good team performance once again. I think there were several players that stood out. The Notts defensive three, Platt, Bedeau & particularly McDonald, did well. I think Austin did well & Abbott had another good game & that through pass to Didzy was pure class. Crowley had a steady game but wasn't at his very best.Jatta worked hard once again & was always a handful. I think it was very close for Man of the Match, but I'm going to choose Didzy due to his fantastic work rate & his two goals, which could easily have been three or four.
  11. Your Weather for the rest of Sunday.
  12. Players still unavailable. Curtis Edwards. Scott Robertson Lucas Ness. Lewis Macari Nick Tsaroulla now available.
  13. Today's matches for Sunday 5th January. Fleetwood v Wimbledon. Match postponed. Chesterfield v Gillingham. Match postponed. Crewe 4 Bromley 1 Newport v Morecambe. Match postponed.
  14. Good Afternoon. We had snow overnight but not as much as forecasted. I would say a couple of inches fell. Looks like the slow thaw has already started. Cleared the car of snow and started the engine to warm things up. Hopefully the warm front will get to us before the day is out & we will get a full thaw. I'm taking a relative to the hospital tonight for an appointment. Hopefully all the roads will be clear by then & the hospital car parking won't be difficult.
  15. Great win. Could have easily had six goals and that would have been thoroughly deserved.
  16. Unfortunately, word has come through that this afternoon's match has been postponed due to the weather conditions.
  17. Pre match interview with Manager Adam Dunleavy.
  18. Up to date League table after all of today's matches.
  19. The first 11 are all included in my list of Notts players to be chosen for the Man of the Match against Swindon today. Bass, McDonald, Platt, Bedeau, Martin, Abbott, Palmer, Austin, Crowley , McGoldrick, Jatta Please give your vote for your choice and let us know how you come to that decision.
