  1. Your Sunday Afternoon Weather
  2. George Abbott for me. He's class. And he is a rock in front of our defence.
  3. Two further goals in the 2nd half for Fulham seal the win for the London side . But a spirited performance by the Notts youngsters.
  4. Latest I've taken the updates from the Fulham Academy website. Half time. Notts 0 Fulham 2 Two early goals from Fulham, however, the Notts youngsters have kept the score sheet clean since then. A bad injury to the Notts skipper Zac Denman has overshadowed the first half.
  5. Because he really hasn't been given a good opportunity. It's like everything else, you have to be in the manager's good books first
  6. The Notts Youth Team to face Fulham.
  7. Good morning. It's a dreary damp morning here, but it is very mild. We've dressed our Xmas tree in our living room this morning. It is a smaller tree (6ft tall) than we have had for the last ten years but it looks good. We are now dressing a small tree we always put in our bedroom. Can't believe we are in December, how the year has flown once again.
  8. Big match for Pep today as Man City meet league leaders Liverpool at Anfield. Another defeat will put Pep under even more pressure.
  9. This is a great opportunity for the Notts Academy players to take on the Academy players of a Premier League side in the FA Youth Cup 3rd Round. I'm sure that our young players are looked forward to the challenge & it is a great opportunity for them to cause a big upset too. I do hope that there will be a decent crowd to cheer our young players on. They've done so well to get to this stage of the competition. CMON U PIES!!
  10. It's Matchday. Notts v Fulham in the FA Youth Cup 3rd Rd at Meadow Lane, kick off 12:30pm. A great day for our Academy players.
  11. Your Sunday Morning Weather
  12. Congratulations @KingMaynard for becoming a Grand Master on the Pride of Nottingham community.
  13. There was one match in league 2 on Saturday. Result. Carlisle 1 Crewe 1. Crewe drop two points,so here's the up to date top half of league 2.
  14. A r I liked your article about the game @Chris I agree that we should be proud of the players, & how they completed & stuck to their task. Those substitutions had an effect & disrupted our shape a little, but Stuart was looking forward to the big game on Tuesday which is much more important. I listened to the post match interview of Stuart & he said that Platt's injury could be a calf strain or just cramp. Let's hope it's just cramp. They'll know more tomorrow morning.
  15. I agree with @Chris that we were superb today in defense. Just unlucky with a couple of their goals, otherwise cwe could easily have won this game. I thought Matty Platt had a blinder again, Bass was superb between the sticks. Bedeau was good too. I thought Jack Hinchy played his best game for us, Scott did ok, & I'm pleased he scored. I thought George Abbott was absolutely superb today. He's going to go a long way. I hope Spurs don't recall him in January. He was all over the pitch & ran himself to a standstill. So my man of the match is George Abbott. Can he win PON man of the match again?
  16. It was a narrow defeat for Notts today against Peterborough in the FA Cup. Although they lost, there were still some big individual performances by the Notts players My short list for Man of the match are the following players:- Bedeau, Palmer, Hinchy, Tsaroulla,Scott, Abbott, Macari, Platt & Bass.
  17. What a goal by Abbott near the end of the match. A touch of class..
  18. Dissapointing defeat at the end but proud of the players for the way they kept going after conceding three quick goals in that 2nd half. A couple of mistakes cost us at the back too later on, but it was great to see us take a 1:2 lead at half time with goals from Scott & Platt. Listened to Stuart's post game presser, the four substitutions half way through the 2nd half were planned in view of the very important Tuesday match against Walsall. All the Notts goals were well taken, and Abbott's goal at the end was pure class. Platt's injury near the end is a worry too. A calf injury may see him out for several weeks just when Notts have a busy lead up to Xmas. Dissapointing to go out of the FA Cup but Notts can concentrate fully on the league now.
  19. GOOOOOAAAAAL ABBOTT Full time. We are out of the FA Cup We finished with ten men too because Matty Platt hobbled off injured near the end of the game.
  20. Update. Mistake by Bass. Update. Another goal for Peterborough.
  21. Ahead at the break Mark Stallard: "Notts have scored two and they've created problems for Peterborough's defence" Adam Hassell: "A few boos from Peterborough fans, you can understand why they're frustrated"
