Jack has done a good job for Stuart whenever he's been called upon. He's put in some steady performances from the centre of midfield, without getting the limelight. He played his best match for Notts against Walsall. He's young and the first team experience will have done him a power of good. He's a good prospect for Notts.

Latest on Storm Darragh

We didn't get an alert here although we do have an amber alert in place. I suppose the alarm is for a red alert, but that only applies to Wales at the moment.

Late into the evening, the rain is pouring down here and the wind's picking up a lot. We've already had some strong gusts too. Will be hoping that the storm can pass without major incident in the North Nottinghamshire area. There is a flood alert out for Mansfield so will see how that develops. The River Maun has been known to flood some parts of Mansfield at times when there is prolonged heavy rain. Hope the strong winds don't affect that match too much on Saturday afternoon. Strong winds won't suit Notts too much, but I guess it will be the same for both sides so fingers crossed.

Jack Hinchy is a good prospect for Notts. He has done a very good job for Stuart Maynard in the central midfield area when he has been called upon. It was great to see Jack get his debut goal for Notts on Tuesday. I am sure that we will see Jack feature much more for Notts when Stuart calls on him, whether in the starting eleven or from the bench.

Bad move as far as I'm concerned. I would have thought a wooden stadia would be a bigger fire risk than concrete stadia, but what do I know. I thought lessons had been learned after the Bradford City fire?

This is a must win for Notts. It's great that Notts are in sixth place in the league with so many injuries over a long period, however I think they need to take advantage of being at Meadow Lane to get some much needed wins under their belt before Xmas. Notts have been boosted with the news from Stuart that Abbott & Platt are in contention for a return against Colchester & Robertson will be available too. I think that Stuart should play McGoldrick & Jatta together for this game, & I think that Notts should apply as much pressure as they can in the opening 20 minutes. The match is going to be a close one, but with some of our best players set to return, I think that Notts will get the win. I'm hoping for a 2:1 win.

George Abbott & Matty Platt are in contention to play against Colchester on Saturday after missing the game Crewe, according to Stuart Maynard, speaking at is pre Colchester presser. Dan Crowley has also been training with the team & is on his way back to match fitness. Maynard. "Dan Crowley's really close"

Junior has pace & I think he could still have a future at Notts. Why not try him as a wingback? Notts need pace in that position & I think Junior could do a job for Notts in the wing.
