  1. More stats for Cal.
  2. Welcome to the Pride of Nottingham. @Jonathan Raimondi
  3. @Wheelbarrow repair man It would be also a great finish for Didzy if he could help get Notts promoted, but even if he doesn't, he's been a credit to this Club, for his leadership, his example to his colleagues & his performance on & off the pitch.
  4. Cal has been named National League North Player of the Month. Could Notts make a cheeky bid for him in January as a Striker/ Attacking Midfielder? Could be a smart move.
  5. I echo the need to get things checked out. I had my prostate checked out after ongoing issues & it came through clear. Best to get things checked out with your GP regularly if there are other issues too.
  6. The game against Donny is definitely going to be Notts's biggest challenge of the season so far. However, I do have much more confidence in Notts to get a result in these type of matches nowadays. Much will depend on whether some of the injured players will become available again, players like Didzy, Dan & Scott Robertson. Even if they are not in the team, I'm sure Notts will still give a good account of themselves. Until we know a little more about the fitness of those players, I will hold back from naming my team for the match.
  7. A view of the Earth & the moon from the European Space Agency's Hera craft, en route to an asteroid. Spacecraft watches lonely Earth and moon fade into the distance | Mashable MASHABLE.COM Destination: An asteroid.
  8. @Wheelbarrow repair man It will be a challenge for Pep, it's very unusual for City to lose a match, so just one loss has got the media in a frenzy. I think the choice of my title was more a kin to being a little facetious regarding the situation. If Pep can't get City out of this "mini crisis" (three defeats on the bounce) questions will start to be asked by the media on whether Pep is up for a fight or not. The Media are good at making a drama look like a crisis. It's the click & bait age for all said & done.
  9. League action resumes for Notts Women on Sunday, 10th Nov, at 2pm when Notts play Lincoln City Women at Coronation Park. Lincoln City Women, formally Nettleham FC were promoted last season, but have found it very hard to compete in this higher league, & are still looking for their first win, having lost all their previous nine league matches. Notts will be looking to get back to winning ways after a series of defeats against very good opposition. This match up will be a good opportunity for Notts to get their fifth win of the season, but of course, they must not underestimate Lincoln City, who will be looking to cause a shock.
  10. Well it's another dreary Wednesday Morning & Afternoon again. The UK has a high pressure system over it but no sun just full cloud, & there seems no end to it. Spain is being hit by some terrible weather too, with the City of Valencia baring the wrath of the weathers fury this time. I think that has much to do with the high pressure over the UK pushing weather systems to the south. On a personal level, not much planned today, had the food shopping delivered yesterday. Both of us feeling under the weather so it's a resting day today
  11. Your Wednesday Afternoon Weather
  12. Pep says that Man City will struggle to win the treble this season.
  13. I think that it is becoming a cause for concern that we have eight injured players on the treatment table. Whether it stems from rough treatment by the opposition, training methods or modern day footballers getting tired much easily nowadays. It is not just happening at Notts but other clubs up and down the league have the same issues. Eight players out of the squad is a very big number & a large number such as this brings the academy players into play too. But the fit players available now have to step up to the plate & make a play themselves for a place in the starting eleven, once these injured player's return.
  14. Choose to see it as good, & it is good. Choose to see it as bad, & it is bad.
  15. Anymore football funnies @Wheelbarrow repair man?
  16. Mourinho is always known for speaking his mind & telling all & sundry how it is. He certainly gets the headlines & people sit up & listen when he speaks. He's one of those one off managers that come around ever so often & you will either love him or loathe him. When he gets upset, he really does go for it & it looks no different here. Whether he's regretting the appointment or not, I will be surprised if he is still working in Turkey by the end of the week, but of course, I may be wrong. The guy is certainly an entertainer. Something that is sadly lacking in the vast majority of football managers today.
  17. Alex Bass, Matty Platt, Lewis Macari, & Jacob Bedeau must be one of the best defensive units in the division at present, but it will be a tough job to keep Doncaster Rovers at bay this Saturday. Can the super four continue to stay firm?
  18. Update on the development of human like Robots.
  19. I'm hoping that we will get some good news on the injury front from Stuart when he faces the press pre Doncaster. I'm expecting that McGoldrick, Crowley & Austin will be available for Doncaster, but we will have to see.
  20. Jevani is going to be an important player for Notts leading up to the new year. I hope that he will only get better for Notts.
  21. Happy Birthday Les. One of our own
