  1. Footage from the silver medal winning routine.
  2. I believe that all Stadia should be allowed to have safe standing areas. Many away fans stand up in front of their seats anyway, and this obstructs other fans from seeing the game. But if the clubs do introduce safe standing then the price should be lower like it used to be, but clubs are not keen to lower the price, you can understand why. I believe the majority of fans would welcome safe standing areas, so I hope it won't be long before we see our local league clubs make standing available.
  3. @liampie I agree, I'm quite sure they used to call it synchronized Swimming years ago. I suppose they wanted to call it Artistic because Artistic Gymnastics is a sport too. But we never used to win a medal in Artistic Swimming till now.
  4. Latest weather forecast. Watch out for Snow on Thursday.
  5. Groundbreaking performance for the Brits. World silver in Artistic Swimming. What a performance from Kate Shortman and Izzy Thorpe in the duet technical.

    BREXIT.....

    So glad we left.
  18. Your forecast for Monday. Overcast for most, some mist/drizzle - Few bright spells - Heavy rain continues in N Scotland - Blustery and mild.
  19. It's always something to celebrate when a young player comes through the academy and makes it to the first team. All the years of hard work and toil have paid off, and those who have guided him through the academy should have a special mention too. The Sanderson success is a testament to the Notts County youth policy. I wish him all the success that he will hopefully have throughout his career as a professional footballer.
  20. If Macaulay Langstaff were to leave, him being such an iconic player in our clubs history, I would keep an eye on his progress with another club like I did Don Masson, all those years ago, players like those you keep an eye on, but other players that leave it's just a passing interest.
  21. Great win on the road tonight by the Nottingham Panthers. This has been coming for a while and with a little more luck, should have happened last night at home to the Blaze A 6:2: win tonight is just what Panthers deserve, because this team never gives up and plays it's heart out every game. Let's hear from Panthers Coach, Johnathan Paredes for his thoughts after the game.
  22. Dissapointing result today. Northampton Town are a good side in this league. First half was very good from the Notts Women, they held their own and kept Northampton at bay until the 39th minute when the home side scored to take the lead. It was one nil at half time to Northampton. Notts came out in the second half with more intensity and for a time it looked as though Notts would get the equalising goal, but Northampton scored their second and things fell apart for Notts after that. The final score is a little hard on Notts who played really well and competed for an hour of the match. Let's hear a snippet from Notts County Women's Manager, Adam Dunleavy, post match interview, to see what he made of the match today. After this match Notts remain third from the bottom of WPL Division 1 Midlands with 9 points from 14 matches, 4 points behind the fourth from bottom club who have a game in hand.
  23. A WIN FOR PANTHERS IN COVENTRY!!!
  24. This is a very important piece of news and should be a really good topic for discussion. This topic could be linked to several other discussions covering the problems within English football at this time, the big clubs getting richer and all the other clubs in the football pyramid being left behind, the lack of money filtering down from the Premier League.VAR not yet perfected, and last but not least, the Fair Play Rules that don't seem to be fair at all, if your not a rich club. Personally, I think these proposals are more for preventing the rich clubs leaving to join a Super League, rather than fixing problems within the game. I don't think the authorities will want to change much apart from preventing a Super League. The FA will want the PL to remain the top league in the World and it needs to generate money to remain at the top. So I believe the status quo will remain for the foreseeable future, with smaller clubs continuing to struggle. It's a sad conclusion to come to, but who is going to stand up to the big clubs and their owners and make the changes that would make the game fairer & much more competitive?
