We never should have won that but we did and don’t you just love those sort of wins when against all odds we come up trumps and score a winner late in the game. Those travelling fans must have been ecstatic, I’m going to pour myself a pint of my home brew beer to celebrate. YOUPIES!

Well I didn’t see the match but listening to commentary and the post match discussion I’ve given it to Roos, who made a superb save to keep us in the game.

@Robbie What we have to realise that we are a selling club and when a good offer comes in for a player they will always be sold but I do agree that the recruitment of Roos as a replacement has been a big mistake.

To be fair @Robbie Griffiths has been given a chance in cup games and to be honest I wasn’t impressed, his distribution was awful, he’s young and has a lot to learn, I don’t think we can afford to put him in the goal for a league 2 match. Having said that I’ll have egg on my face if he starts and plays a blinder.

For all his faults I still think that Roos is the best goalkeeper available at the moment (which doesn’t say a lot), I did read that Patterson has been looking at other goalkeepers so I’m sure he and the club are aware that Roos needs replacing although he was diplomatic and said the goalkeeping area needed strengthening.

We are back home now after a good journey home yesterday, it only took two and a half hours. We were home in time to fetch the cat from the cattery before 12 noon if it had been after we’d have had to pay for another night, it’s not cheap at nearly £100 a week! Yes that might be the one I remember, when our their player was injured the goalie threw the ball out of play and Rammage I think took the throw in and didn’t give them the ball back and Stallard scored. I think Notts players were accusing them of time wasting.

The players need to give us a good performance after last week, they will be hurting and hopefully desperate to put things right with a win.

It could be, I don’t know, perhaps someone else with a better memory than me could tell us.
