Good afternoon, we’ve had another day of cutting up carpet and underlay ready for our new carpet that coming Tuesday. It’s very tiring work shifting furniture about and getting down on my hands and knees to cut lengths of carpet to take to the tip. We’d had enough by 3pm and I downloaded my ticket for tomorrow then we relaxed in the garden in the lovely sunshine with a cool drink. Mrs. t’s home made chicken biryani tonight looking forward to that. @Robbie best wishes to Mrs Robbie I don’t envy her a dentist appointment I’ve had far too many recently.

That rain was quite unexpected, Mrs. T asked me what the weather was going to do as she had some washing, I looked on the weather app and it said dry all day, well you can imagine what she said when she had a line full of washing and it started tipping down with rain. Morning all, happy Thursday. We are busy getting ready for our new carpet which will be laid next Tuesday, we have a huge through lounge/diner, so we have a lot of old carpet to take up, we’ve been cutting it up into smaller pieces with a Stanley knife so it’s more manageable to take to the tip. We now have a square in the lounge still to cut up and the whole of the dining room. The trouble is we have to do it in stages as it’s a bit exhausting and not good on my back. When I was younger it would have been a doddle. Never mind we’ll get there eventually. What’s everyone else up to?
