Greetings it’s been a cloudy but dry, warm day here. We’ve had a walk into the woods but we didn’t see any bears, we were servicing our late sons geocaches they still bring enjoyment to folks 13 years after his death, we’ll keep them going for as long as we can. This afternoon I phoned my elder brother who has a birthday today, he’s 87 and still going strong, we were two hours on the phone, it was really nice to talk as we don’t see each other very often, he lives in Crawley which is a nightmare to get to.

I gave up reading the NEP years ago either the paper or online, it wasn’t dubbed the “red rag” for nothing, these days newspapers are becoming obsolete especially local newspapers, I know, I used to work on them.

Hopefully Martin will know by now what his best available team is, he’s been working them hard in training by all accounts so hopefully they’ll put in a good account of themselves. I think Martin Patterson’s Notts County will be more aggressive and tough tackling than we’ve seen in other seasons but I hope it’s controlled aggression, let’s not see any reckless challenges just good firm and fair tackles.

I agree entirely @theAnticlough the extra time didn’t do Italy any favours at all, they should have just got on with the game instead of that horrible phrase “game management” they were very strong defensively and England were struggling to break them down.

I panic every time this happens and have flash backs to the time when the site was hacked by those sad people from Ukraine, I know how much angst and hard work it caused @Chris and how much I missed the site in the days it was down. If the story is true I wouldn’t want to see him go, not without a ready made replacement of a proven goal scorer and they aren’t easy to find because everyone wants one. Let’s hope it’s all hogwash and just click bait as @Robbie says.

I was desperate to get it without a hint so much so I was still not dressed at 9.45 I did have to give in and get a hint then I worked out the theme but even then some of the spellings had me flummoxed, there was one with z’s I’d never heard of so got that last.

That’s true, however I do try to work out the final line before I reveal the answer, if I manage to get that far.
