Hey @Michael D Pie. take care of yourself my friend, urine infections are nasty as my dear wife will testify. I hope you are better soon. I agree with @Chris thanks for your supportive messages, it means a lot. My blood tests came back today, no diabetes, no high cholesterol and my blood pressure is fine. So the bleed on the eye isn’t caused by any of those, I’ve got an appointment in September to see an eye specialist.

Good morning, the weather is supposed to be cooling down a little today, let’s hope it does. We’ve still had no rain here I don’t think I can remember such a long period without rain. I’m keeping my appearances on here to a minimum as I’m still having trouble with my eyes and small screens seem to exacerbate the problem. Have a great day everyone.

I’m sorry to see Jatta go as we all are but that’s football, as others have said he’s served us well and he goes with my good wishes. Another proven goal scorer would be a nice addition so let’s see what happens in the rest of the window.

Good morning I hope everyone is well, my eyes are a little better thanks to resting from screens and drops. This week will be a busy one for me with doctors and hospital appointments, I hope they all turn out ok I don’t seem to be having much luck in the health department just lately. On another note, what happened to the rain? A friend who lives near Stockport says he had enough to fill two water butts as it rained all day! We’ve had nothing, and now another heatwave is on the way. It could be worse I suppose I feel sorry for the poor folk in France and Spain battling wildfires, some have lost their homes. Right that’s me for now, take care everyone.

Morning all, I hope we are all well and ready to start the new week. I’m suffering with my eyes at the moment so looking at screens is difficult, the optician has referred me to the doctor for blood tests and to an ophthalmic consultant I’m waiting for an appointment. I did however manage to watch the World Cup final last night, I was glad that Spain won the Argies are cheats and very sore losers as was witnessed after the final whistle. The majority of the game was very boring though, unlike the England v France game.

What a game it was England 4-0 up at half time, second half France came out all guns blazing and pulled it back to 4-3, then Saka scored a pen to make it 5-3 but France still wouldn’t lie down they scored again making it 5-4 before Bellingham sealed the win 6-4. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more exciting match. The nerves were certainly jangling in the second half.
