On Saturday Notts take on league leaders Stockport at Meadow Lane.
How many links can we find between the two clubs?ย Iโm going for the obvious one Kyle Wootton, I hope he gets a good reception.
Who else is linked between the two clubs.

Scientists at the University of Central Lancashire have discovered a gigantic, ring-shaped structure in space.
It is 1.3bn light-years in diameter and appears to be roughly 15 times the size of the Moon in the night sky as seen from Earth.
Named the Big Ring by the astronomers, it is made up of galaxies and galaxy clusters.
They say that it is so big it challenges our understanding of the universe.
It cannot be seen with the naked eye. It is really distant and identifying all the galaxies that make up the bigger structure has taken a lot of time and computing power.

This discovery by scientists at the University of Central Lancashire is truly mind-boggling. The Big Ring, a gigantic structure in space, is challenging our understanding of the universe. Itโs fascinating that such a large structure, made up of galaxies and galaxy clusters, exists, contradicting the cosmological principle that all matter is spread evenly across the Universe.

So National Insurance has been cut by 2% today for working people.Thats very nice for them, but Pensioners on State Pension with a small private or Company pension, don't benefit because they don't pay National Insurance even if they work. So all working Pensioners, & there's tens of thousands of them, don't get any tax cut today.
In fact, pensioners tax burden is going up, not down. Pensions are taxed, so pensioners who work pay tax on every hour that they work because their tax free allowance is swallowed up by their Pension.
Sorry for my gripe but that is the reality for millions of Pensioners like myself.

I hope I'm jumping the gun and will be able to delete this thread, but the signs aren't good. So ... who would you like to succeed LW if he goes and who do you think the owners would go for?
Ian Burchnall has been seen at the Lane against Donny, but that doesn't necessarily mean he's in the frame - he's assistant manager at Wolves and might have been keeping tabs on Ollie Tipton, who played that day.
Any other ideas or names?ย

I'm just curious, not trying to boast. What phone do you have? Is it an Android, an iPhone, or something else? How long have you had it? Which network do you use? How often do you get a new one?

13 January is the anniversary of the death of รthelwulf, king of Wessex in the ninth century and father of Alfred the Great. Ifย รthelwulf were alive today, he'd almost certainly play the PON prediction league; however, he's dead. This is where you lot come in: predict these matches by 3pm on Saturday, and you might win some points. And remember your jokers!

The festive period fell a little wayward and, I apologise that this hadn't been completed sooner.
November was a great month for PON, which led nicely into the final calendar month. There was a lot of fantastic effort by the community, which is pleasing and although things did become quieter (quite naturally) nearer to Christmas and the New Year, I still believe it's important to wrap this up. Between myself, @cheeky~k8ย and @Burnz3r0.
We have decided upon the nominations for each member group as to who should be named December's Member(s) of the Month here on the Pride of Nottingham.
NewPie of the Month goes to: ???? @Robbie.
Member(s) of the Month goes to: @menzinhoย and @Piethagoram.
Team Member of the Month goes to: @TheSkipper
Congratulations to the four members! This is a fantastic achievement worth celebrating. So, many excellent contributions and posts during December and, we go again in 2024.
Please take a moment to wish everyone well.

Iโve been chatting with @super_ramย on another topic about quiz shows so I thought Iโd open up the discussion on its own thread. Do you watch quiz shows? Whatโs your favourite?
We regularly watch Pointless which is different in that you have to come up with an obscure answer. We also like Tipping Point on channel 4.
Whats your favourite?

Iโve had a very very authentic sounding call from o2 offering me 40% off my current bill, I actually fell for it at the beginning. They seemed knew my email address and sent a text message with a code, they then asked me to tell them the code which stupidly I told them then they sent an email with a link to reset my password this is where I got suspicious and terminated the call. I switched my phone off and back on again to make sure they werenโt still on the line and immediately phoned o2 who checked my account and advised me to change my password, they also said theyโd never ask for a code number theyโd sent in a text which I should have known.
Luckily they didnโt get into my account but if Iโd gone ahead and changed my password from their link they would have been able to access the account and buy phones etc.
I think because they knew my email they were able to try to access my account which sends an official text with a code to my phone which because it was definitely from o2 I was happy to give them. Thankfully the warning bells sounded when they asked me to click a link to change my password.
I am normally very wary of calls like this but this was very clever and very believable so please beware if you are an o2 customer.
