Good morning, it’s a bit of a dreary start but let’s hope it cheers up a bit later. @nottsnutter I hope you have a lovely meal tomorrow and a happy anniversary to you both. I’ve been married over 50 years now, it seems these days that couples don’t stay together very long at all. @Piethagoram I’ve been to Liverpool a couple of times as a tourist and I really like the place. The first time we went we had a walking tour around the different tourist attractions and ending in a spit and sawdust pub for some real ale and a bowl of warming scouse, which was very welcome as it tipped it down with rain the whole day.

Good morning, a new week beckons, I hope everyone is well, the nights are really getting noticeably longer now October will soon be on us. We saw our son in the marathon yesterday at Wollaton Park he was very pleased with his time of under 2:20. He did really well. We also saw several runners in Notts County shirts and gave them a “YOUPIES” as they passed. I wish I’d have started running when I was younger, I struggle with 5k now and at the moment I can’t run because of a problem with my eye. The jolting could make a bleed at the back of my eye worse so I’ll have to be content with a brisk walk. Here’s our son at the half way stage.
