In what has to go down as one of the most embarrassing days in Notts County's recent history - possibly even more so than the Salford City loss, also this season - the Magpies fell to an abysmal 5-0 defeat to Nottinghamshire rivals Mansfield Town in Saturday's League Two clash at Field Mill. The Stags were quickest out of the starting blocks and were ahead as early as the sixth minute when Mal Benning's cross evaded the Notts defence before being drilled home by Matt Green for his 15th goalAdded by Joe Jones

Peterborough United head to Meadow Lane having lost their last two games, they have only won once in their last six games and that was against Leyton Orient. So they find themselves in quite poor form, similar to ourselves prior to our recent two results. They will be wanting to put aside this disappointment by focusing on an away win. The Posh will be calling upon their more senior players to give guidance to their young talent, as they're desperate to pick up poUpdated by cheeky~k8

Collecting football stickers. The staple of many a young football fan (and plenty of grown-ups too). A difficult but enjoyable mission which, if/when completed, gives you a massive of achievement. Chasing stickers is hard enough as it is - but imagine doing this while also getting all the players to sign the ones with their face on it. Pretty much a case of God Mode difficulty level. This is exactly what Stickerchase are doing at present, however, and it's being done for a good cause.Updated by Joe Jones

As many of you have realised, the Pride of Nottingham website has undergone a vast revamp. Not only has the layout completely changed, but its functions have also been improved. In this article, site webmaster Notts Joe discusses the changes made to PON. So when you click on the site, it looks completely different. Why did you change it? With the busy Christmas and New Year games schedule on the horizon it is perhaps time to look at the clubs in League One who are at the foot of the table and see who has made any green shoots of recovery and those who are seemingly in freefall. The four clubs who are presently in the dropzone are Bristol City on 15 points, then come Crewe and Notts County on 17 points with Stevenage sitting in 21st spot with 18 points. Then just six clubs are separated by two points and goal difference, wUpdated by Chris

Notts County endured a disappointing February with 0-2 defeats at Preston and Wolves and a 2-3 reverse at Shrewsbury but did chalk up a 3-0 home success over Coventry City. Shrewsbury only had that win V. Notts County to shout about with a draw and two defeats to complete their month. Crewe excelled themselves with two wins which were against Sheffield United (3-0) and at Port Vale (3-1). Meanwhile Stevenage and Tranmere had similar months with both teams chalking up two wins apiece. CarlUpdated by cheeky~k8

Looking back over January, the foot of League One is as tight as ever, with no relegation certainties but a cluster of clubs who are in trouble as they search for improved form and more importantly results to clear away from danger a little. Stevenage were dragged into it as playing just three games in the month they secured just a single win, a somewhat surprise 2-0 win over Swindon Town. It was a terrible month for Sheffield United who in December had shown an improvement but last monthUpdated by Chris

Port Vale head to Meadow Lane on the 28th of February. Notts County will have to be steady within their approach against the Valiants, as the visiting side are in decent form and have the ability to punish any side within League One with their clever brand of football. Portsmouth fans have expressed their gratitude to Notts County for their hospitality as the South Coast side clinched promotion to League One. Three relegations in four seasons saw Pompey fall from the Premier League to League Two between 2010 and 2013, but their seventh win from nine games this season sees the club back into the third tier. While I am always being told that the development of the young ‘Pies is always deemed to be more important than winning football matches, I am sure it is easier for the coaches to get their points across if the lads can see it gets results on a Saturday. With that in mind, it seems a long time ago, at the end of November in fact, when the Notts youth team sat proud on top of their league. Since then they have only played only twice, duringAdded by shepshedpie

After last week's thrilling late win at Grimsby, the league table has a fascinating look to it. All the top four teams are on 27 points, with Notts' superior goal difference putting them right on top of the pile. This Saturday (just like the first team) the young 'Pies are at home to Hartlepool United with the obvious added pressure that in order to stay at the top of the league table, another win is required.
