When do you take yours down?

I don’t go with all this twelfth night business, I’m not superstitious, we took ours down today as we hate to have them around in the new year so they are now banished back to the loft.

Either New Year’s Day or the 2nd for our trees, villages, or outdoor decorations, the rest are put away any day between the 27th and New Year’s Eve (cards are always first to go).

There used to be a lot of moaning from certain members of the family when they were young ,but as I was working then they usually came down the first weekend after new year. Now they will come down during the week after new year and when I feel like it(so they could still be up at Easter)

@Piethagoram belated birthday wishes to you!

The decorations is @cheeky~k8 department, I would have them up all year round - along with most of our children. Don't listen to Super, nobody ever complained about him taking them down, it was more complaints about getting him to actually put the things up. 😂

I actually miss helping to sort and find them, it always brought the Christmas excitement with it and made my parents home feel all the merrier around that time of year. Besides, Super could be like Scrooge in more ways than one.

I didn't put any up, but that's because I was away but I would have taken them down right after New Year's Day.
