There are 4 matches in League 2 on Tuesday evening that have interest for Notts fansΒ

Morecambe and Gillingham could go above Notts if they win or draw.

I'm rooting for Stockport, Walsall, Wrexham & Crawley for Tuesday Evening.

Gillingham v Stockport

Walsall v Morecambe

MK Dons v Wrexham

AFC Wimbledon v CrawleyΒ

League 2 Match Night.

So the League 2 season continues tonight with four games that will affect the fight for promotion and playoff places.

Morecambe, MK Dons, AFC Wimbledon & Gillingham, will be hoping for wins tonight to keep their interests very much alive in their quest for the playoffs, or even automatic promotion.

Stockport & Wrexham will be hoping to cement their place in the automatic promotion slots.

Notts will be hoping, results will go in their favour.

Stay tuned for updates tonight.

Full timeΒ

GillinghamΒ 0 v Stockport 0

Walsall 3 v Morecambe 0

MK Dons 1 v Wrexham 1

AFC Wimbledon 0 v Crawley 1

The Results tonight have gone quite well for Notts, Wimbledon losing as well as Morecambe.

MK Dons drawing as well as Gillingham.

So that means Notts are in 10th place in League 2 just 1 point behind Harrogate who are 7th and hold the last playoff place at this time.

So to repeat, not a bad evening for Notts and we now have a game in hand over Gillingham & Wimbledon who are on 48 and 47 points respectively. Notts are on 47 points.

It's very tight for the playoff places with 9 clubs from 7th to 15th including Notts, separated by only two points.

So it's on to Saturday with Notts against Crewe.

On the positive front for Notts our nearest rivals.

Accrington, Wimbledon, Harrogate, and Newport lost.

Gillingham, MK Dons, Crawley and Walsall won

Morecambe drewΒ

So that leaves Notts in 13th place, 4 points behind 7th placed Gillingham, but Notts have a game in hand over themΒ

This Tuesday evening again, we've seen that all teams are capable of beating each other in this league.

Mansfield, Crawley and Gillingham have lost, Barrow, Morecambe & MK Dons have won with Wimbledon & Bradford drawing tonight.

This means Notts remain in 14th place, 7 points behind Walsall in 7th place with a game in hand, and one & two games in hand over some clubs around Notts.

Still lots to play for.

It would be if you could see us improving in some way, sadly I can’t at the moment. Big result for Franchise FC in beating Stags, throws them right back into the top 3 chase.

The league still has enough time to change who will finish where. I don’t think all the playoff places have been decided by the results we see now, so there can be movement. Notts has a game in hand over some and that could help. I think we have to see out this season the best we can and strengthen properly out of it.

Tuesday 12th March.

After tonight's round of matches Notts are now 10 points behind a possible playoff place with 10 games to go, so it is safe to say we won't make the playoffs this season.

Now it is all about finished the season as high up the league as they can.

Stockport and Wrexham have been promoted to League 1

Mansfield just need a point from their last three matches to gain automatic promotion too, because they have a vastly superior goal difference over MK Dons in fourth place.

Notts match Stockport for goals scoredΒ  so far and remain joint top scorers with Stockport with 86 goals,

How different things could have been this season for Notts, with just a little more luck in defence.

Congrats to Stockport and Wrexham, it’s probably better for us that they’ve gone up as they are the two biggest spenders in the league. And Mansfield’s promotion like you say is pretty much inevitable, again probably good for us as we always lose against them!

I still find it really strange to see the celebrations from people in North America that until about 3 years ago had never heard of Wrexham…
