No it’s not a new player coming to Notts so don’t get excited.

I’ve just been in the garden and at a quick count there are 8 frogs in our small pond.

Anyone else seen signs of Spring?

The Sun is now above my 6ft fence shining into the house in the morning. That's a good sign for me. But I need to start getting out there to tidy all them leaves up.

Daffs are starting to hit the shops, always a sign that spring is round the corner.
My Snowdrops are just starting to die off, that along with longer days are always the tell tale sign for me. Fields are still sodden though, with a lot that still need to be re ploughed and seeded, going to be a bad crop year methinks.

some days its quite nice in spells but the sun never lasts for long, it either starts to rain or becomes gloomy. i think before we see many nicer days, we will just be hit with heat waves. its been a harsh winter, very cold and i am just hoping it warms up.

I was excited about a new signing for just a moment there @Fan of Big Tone!

The snowdrops have appeared and the birds are tweeting. But isn't it a bit early still?

The grass is starting to grow.

The Daffs are coming out early.

The Rose bushes are sprouting new shoots.

Spring is coming early.

You'll know when Spring is really here, because as Max Bygraves used to sing When It's Spring Again I'll bring again Tulips from Amsterdam. I'll get my coat.

We’re going to get a lot of rain this year, with not much sun. I hope this is wrong but I don’t see the weather getting much better.
