Can "Freezing This Xmas" get to the Xmas number one?

It is selling in droves. Can it beat the usual competition?

If it's a yes to my question at the end, then the UK people need to make it happen. If it's just someone responding, or using the song to generate some 'cheap heat' towards Starmer/Labour. I wonder where this was during the Conservative Party's time in power.

No other party would make a difference, they all would fall to the control and pockets of the energy companies. :(

I'm getting sick of people not giving Keir Starmer, or the Labour Party time. Will the money from the parody go towards helping the vulnerable people living in the cold?

@Chris

All money raised goes to a charity to help the elderly this winter!

Well, we’ll find out today, but I’d be surprised. By all accounts just getting into the Top 40 will be a challenge as on the official chart update as of Monday is was only number 85. (Yeah I’m like 1 of about 20 people that still follows the charts!)

I saw it was No.1 on the itunes download list but the majority of people just don’t download music anymore, most of it is streaming hence why all the old Christmas songs are back in the charts and one will likely be the No.1

I find it funny seeing stories about the BBC refusing to play it, when in reality they just aren’t playing it because it’s not even in the chart yet! I guess if it does chart they will have a decision to make. They previously didn’t play the Boris Johnson protest song, the Brexit protest song nor did they play Ding Dong the Witch is dead when Thatcher died.

I stopped following charts when Alan Freeman (fluff) stopped doing it.

@super_ram will remember him.

That's a long time ago 23 October 1993, when Alan had his last Pick of the Pops. I think they included records & singles cassettes at that time. @Fan of Big Tone
