Will be interesting to see the team that Stuart will pick for the game against Accrington.

My team would be.

Bass, McDonald, Platt, Bedeau Austin, Abbott, Palmer, Tsaroulla, Jones, McGoldrick, Jatta.

Subs, Grant, Slocombe, Johnson, Whitaker, Jarvis, Hinchy, Martin.

I would put Jodi in the number 10 role, & the three new players would be on the bench.

I would call that a very strong team & bench.

Accrington Stanley had a grand day out at Liverpool last week. I thought they played quite well. They certainly weren't overawed. They are unbeaten in their last 2 in the league. They are now 5 points clear of the relegation zone.

It's been an interesting week at Notts. Time to park that now and get on with the push for promotion. This won't be an easy game but I think Notts will secure all 3 points and we can collectively say Dan who?

I wouldn't expect to see Curtis Edwards straight back into the team, although it will be nice to see him make his return and there's nothing stopping him from getting some match minutes within the game to build his return to match fitness.

So, that's positive news early on.

The majority of the team writes itself, provided the players are available and fit.

Bass, Platt, Bedeau, Palmer, Abbott, McGoldrick, Jatta.

I hope Tsaroulla and Jones will take positions in the broader areas. Yet, I do have a feeling that Will Jarvis will make his debut.

All three of the signings so far might go straight into the team.

Notts just needs to ensure that we don't leave ourselves open at the back, avoid silly passes within our area and attack the game. It should be a good game, with an early glimpse into life after Dan Crowley.

Our form before the transfer window opened had been better, but Accrington are a difficult team, and their position in the league means nothing on the day. They will make Wham Stadium a tough place to visit. Even if, on paper, we should win or are going in as the favourites, there are more unknowns added to the game.

I am looking forward to watching the game. It's not the best stadium in League Two, but I do like the atmosphere we can create there. I hope we don't just throw in new signings, or Jodi Jones and Curtis Edwards, but put out a team that is balanced. I am sure Stuart Maynard will see the risk of throwing players in, especially when they are new.

Is anyone else going to the Wham/Crown Stadium? I hope Alassana Jatta is going to cause a storm.

I’ll be listening on Radio Red, it’ll be interesting to see how we get on without Crowley and how any of the new signings do (if they are selected).

I’m really hoping for a win and three points. 🤞

We certainly have the options in terms of who replaces Crowley for this game. Edwards and Grant seem the more obvious choices but who knows, if Evans or Whitaker have really impressed in training they could go straight in. We are not short of attacking options now which is a good thing. I think Jodi will start too and I'd keep him out wide for now, it's were he preforms best in my opinion.

Accrington are down the bottom for a reason, we've certainly got the quality to beat them. Not sure why our record there of late is so bad though, last 5 visits over the years have all been winless. It's not like it's an intimidating place to go, hopefully we can put that right on Saturday!

Some new guys, with Johnson in defence due to current injuries and give Jarvis a go. Some returning from injuries, such as Edwards or maybe Jones here, more central and maybe Tsaroulla or Mrtin on the left?
