It was a good point won for Notts in the end. With other teams around them either winning or drawing Notts remain in 4th place

I have selected the Notts starting 11 for you to choose your PON Man of the Match against Fleetwood.

Please select your Man of the Match & please share with us why you chose that player..

These are the players from the starting 11.

Bass, Gordon, Bedeau Platt, Grant, Whittaker, Palmer, Tsaroulla, Johnson, Jatta, Abbott.

Thanks Robbie I can now vote for Abbot, although I didn’t go to the game listening to the radio it sounded like Abbot had a good game scoring a goal and getting an assist.

The four players on my shortlist for Man of the Match are Jacob Bedeau, Matty Platt, George Abbott, Alassana Jatta

Both Platt & Bedeau had a solid game for Notts today. It is something that we have become to expect from them & they always seem to deliver.

Bedeau was class once again & his goal was well taken.Jatta is so important to Notts & he proved it once again today. He could easily have had a hat trick today with the chances he had.

For me it was a close run thing between Abbott & Jatta but I think that Abbott just nicks the award for me. So my PON Man of the Match is George Abbott

George Abbott for me too. He created his first goal by pressing their defender and then produced a lovely touch and cross for Jatta's goal. He was the reason we scored 2.

George Abbott was outstanding and deserved the opening goal.

It's a shame how quickly things changed in the second half, but Abbott was excellent.

It was a long day, but on my way home after the game, I could only think of George Abbott. He truly gave a superb performance, and I felt we controlled the first half effortlessly.

I voted for George Abbott. I thought there were some good performances, but some dropped off in the second half. I don't think Alassana Jatta did enough to be voted for.

A belated thanks for letting me know. By the way you spelt Abbott wrong but  never mind, we all make mistakes. :rollonfloorlaughing:

Yes, George Abbott was class yesterday. If we had maintained the first half's level of control, the game would have been seen out better. But credit to Fleetwood; they made a real game of it and gave us a scare when they took the lead. Good side, we just needed to be a bit more organised at the back.

Believe me @Robbie I’m a master at making mistakes, I was probably thinking of Abbot Ale I haven’t had a drink for 3 weeks and it’s affecting my brain.
