II do wish him success during the rest of his football Management career. I hope that he will be offered a position elsewhere very quickly because I believe he can guide another club to success if given the opportunity..

Stuart deserves to move on to another management role. He did right by us and always believed in the team. Wish you all the best for now and the future.

Some fans didn’t like that he came from a job as a BT Technician, so they won’t take his statement seriously. That’s a shame, because you can see how hard he worked and how much he cared. It just didn’t work out in the end.

Stuart Maynard gave it a proper go, but we didn’t get promoted. There were different reasons for that. Still, it wasn’t a bad effort, and others in his position might’ve done much worse.

His message is a good one. I hope he gets another chance in the National League with a club that suits him.

Some people who didn’t like him before will now say nice things, but they didn’t really support him when it mattered. That feels a bit fake. Stuart’s message is a kind goodbye. I don’t think he failed, he just didn’t grow or learn as fast as the club needed.

The board thought it was time to try something new, and I get that. I just hope it turns out to be the right move. I really want Martin Paterson to do well and help the club succeed, just like I hoped Stuart would.

i hope he gets a chance to restart, i dont doubt that hes a good coach but professional football is hard and even harsher when you arrive at a club who cant maintain the togetherness that could have made the difference. i think had not more fans turned, he might have been given longer and i think that a lot after afc wimbledon beat us at their ground was vocal on the clubs socials it made it hard. he deserves another go, i hope he finds a national league team that he can rebuild and maybe earn promotion with. the main things is to learn about his management in games. the statement from him is nothing i would not expect from a level headed person.

I’ve always respected Stuart Maynard. Even when things were a bit iffy, I never doubted his dedication to Notts. It was good to hear his words again. He might feel a bit hard done by, and I wouldn’t blame him. But the way he focused on the positives shows real class. I wish him all the best in his management journey. I actually thought he might’ve gone back to Wealdstone.
