Match Discussion: League Two - Crewe Alexandra (A)

Featured Replies

Notts could and should have had 4 or five goals in this game, Dennis missed two excellent chances at the death. I did wonder if the one goal would be enough and if we’d get caught by the sucker punch at the end but in all honesty I don’t think Belshaw had a shot to save so we got three deserved points and that’s all that matters.

This is the League 2 Table after today's games. Notts are in 7th place.

Dennis and Jatta missing their glorious chances to keep the scouts in two minds and therefore increase their chances of staying at the club. Masterful stuff! Although it was a shame Grant couldn't score his, I've never know a player who looks less dangerous the closer to goal he gets.

Not much else to add on what was a really good performance from everyone. I think we made Crewe look poor, they were 10th at the start of the day so they are a decent team at this level. But they only really looked threatening from set-pieces, in open play they didn't have much of an idea other than hopeful balls into the channels.

Good to get back to winning ways at Meadow Lane, sets us up nicely for Swindon in the week.

Very very impressed by the Crewe no.26....hope Richard Montague put him in his little black book for next season.....

O'Reilly. Yes, I was thinking the same. Villa player. Maybe we can remind them of what we did for Grealish!

We need to win our home games. We won this one. Box ticked.
