Your favourite Premiership player

So if you had the chance of taking one player from the Premiership and putting him in your team (no matter who you support) who would you pick.

My choice would be Steven Gerrard, I think he is fantastic and I would love to see him in a Notts shirt at Meadow Lane. I can dream can't I?

Suarez. best finisher in the league. Not the perfect role model but I read an article by Kev keegan and he was classing Suarez as one of the best Liverpool strikers to be at Anfield for many a year. Top praise considering the contenders.

I expect alot of people would choose 'pool players as they do seem to be gearing up for a period of dominance and exciting football. Well done to the board, manager and their players.

I can't find a current player who I could say I enjoy or look out for, in fact I barely watch Match of the Day and only catch a select few games.

Can I just be awkward and say someone who's retired?

Dennis Bergkamp will always be my favourite players who's featured in the Premiership.

If not, I am sure someone like that Adam fella who plays for Southampton could be mentioned. I'm glad he's found the attention of the England manager and he did very well in the game I watched, where they played much better than Arsenal in the first half.

I think it is really hard to keep watching other games all the time if you're a regular at a club. The longer I've held my season ticket for, the more I've 'gone off' other leagues and not really bothered about them. In fact we've just chopped the sky sports off the tv package due to the fact I never watched the matches. Like to think I could, but reality says i never did so why waste the money. I never have the time. with two kids and Notts to see time can't be spent watching premiership posers. Give me dirty lower league football anyday. then again, maybe not!

Personally I think Silva is lucky, good player on the ball but he'd be listed in my 'overrated' squad. Along with Mata and several other players, the English game might be attracting more talent but it isn't the same level as it used to be when wizards graced the pitch.

Especially English players themselves! Thank god nobody said Darren Fletcher!!
