Louis Laing = 3-5-2

I see we've got a player from Forest, first I have heard of this and I have no idea about him as a player.

Personally, I don't care what formation we play (well aslong as it's not a lone striker) but I prefer 4-4-2. I can't see 3 defenders working for us, it's where we need to be careful in my opinion but anywho... Welcome Louis Laing ;)

He's one I'd like to keep for the season. No chance I suppose? He wouldn't be too far down the pecking order at Forest I guess?

Dont like saying good things about those who shall not be named, but they did us a favour with him.

He is a class act and has settled so well you'd have thought he had been here all his life. Still like the Hollis - Mullins pairing though.

He's done well, like you said you would not tell he has not been around for more than a month.

Mullins is a great player at have at the back, he really secured the position before the injury but for me he is the weakest link. I would not drop Louis because he can offer pace, which Mullins does get caught out with.

Derry must be pleased to have 3 decent centre backs!

Would anyone play Mullins, Hollis and Laing together in a back 5, with Muzzy and Adams as wingbacks, to try and inject a more pace into the team, and play 2up front, i just think we have lost the exciting attacking football we had at the end of last season at Ml, and need to get that momentmet going again.

We would have to be wary about being countered but it could be interesting!

I think Hollis, Mullins and Laing could be a duo which would be quite solid under pressure. If it means at home we could play two strikers and bring some entertainment to the field, it would be better. I guess we will have to see what Derry decides because I have a feeling he won't revert from what's picking up points no matter what the cries are.

To be fair, it's working. I just doesn't look pretty!
