Warning this might get you a bit hot under the collar when you read it.

Some great comments in reply to this ridiculous article.

Colin Slater and Dean Yates made it sound far worse, the lad was late and perhaps shouldn't have gone in with the challenge, yet a yellow card was fair. Roy is also a little bit of time waster when it comes to these things, he knows how wind down the clock. I do not believe it is as bad as saying "melodramatic", that implies he wasn't remotely hurt and believe me those type of challenges come quite keen.

This is the stupid article people are discussing/complaining about on Twitter isn't it?

Bitter reporters are amusing, not worth reading and sadly he probably doesn't realize he's wasted time he could have used better.

I sincerly hoped that piece of garbage did not reach any printing pressers.

My comment on their website:

Typical lazy journalism:

"I’m guessing he wasn’t crammed into cattle-class for the return flight to the UK".

I have no idea which 'class' he flew in, but why not ring him up and ask, or interview him at the ground? Or are you cowardly as well as apparently lazy?

As to the challenge, none of us got the same view as the referee and his assistant but they judged it a foul and a yellow card offence. Did you ask any of the players or the match officials for a comment or a quote, or for a report from Notts County's doctor? Was there bruising, again I don't know, but why not find out? Perhaps innuendo is easy and proper journalism requires effort...

This is the CET's answer to Kenny Burns. Don't waste your precious energy on him.

I read the first couple of post in here and @notts-joe Said it all, Not worth Reading. Then @DangerousSausage said Kenny Burns, ha ha ha. Nuff said.

Jealousy is a wasted Emotion :P

Anyone who has ever lived in the cack hole that is Coventry could almost word for word tell someone what the article says without reading it, seriously they need to put dopamine in the local water supply, never mind flouride

Coventry is not a "cack hole" when you get to know it @Northants Pie, I loved living there. Alan Poole doesn't speak for them any more than Kenny Burns speaks for us. Both are just bitter old men.

What a load of rubbish and a waste of column space and time.

It's pretty presumptuous to assume I didn't get to know it isn't it

I noticed comments both on FB and Twitter, someone asked the Nottingham Report person.

Funny stuff!

Charterhouse and Stoke Heath. Not the best parts of town but it felt like home. My ex used to live a few doors away from Highfield Road.

My in-laws 'live' in Cov!!

I'm with the Specials on this. So's my wife!! (She lived there in that era).
