Thai Restaurant

It's Mrs. H's birthday today and we were going to have a trip into town and have a meal but we realised it was the Christmas lights switch on and would probably be very busy so we decided to go to our local Thai restaurant and have a meal.

Β

We started the night in Wetherspoons and had a lovely pint of Blakes bitter, a very dark bitter, which Mrs. H. particularly likes and then went on to the Thai Restaurant. Mrs. H. had a Red Thai Curry and I had some kind of chicken dish which had been cooked over a charcoal fire and was really nice. Its; the second time we have been to this restaurant and although we aren't really used to Thai food I must say we really enjoyed it.

Β

Total cost £3.45 in wetherspoons and £44 in restaurant which included a starter and a bottle of house red, not a bad night out.

Happy birthday Mrs. H.

Many happies to Mrs H. Hope she enjoyed the night out too. Maybe as a treat she could escort you to the Lane tomorrow to see Notts thrash Yeovil?

Many years ago she would escort me to the Lane and stand beside me on the kop but sadly these days she prefers her home comforts.

She is still a 'pie at heart though.

On a cold and wet Saturday afternoon can you really blame her? Even with a heated seat/bum warmer it's still not the most hospitable place in the world!!!

Happy Birthday Mrs H.

Hope you both enjoyed it, wasn't it last time when you posted the picture of your meal?

I was listening to the radio in the kitchen the other night when Barry White was played.I went in the living room and told @GrannyPie that @tonyhateley was singing on the radio-cue bemused expression, followed by-"What? Our Tony?,then the penny dropped.. :rollonfloorlaughing:

Ha ha, you'd soon switch off if I was singing on the radio.

Now even Asda are acknowledging your Lothario status by paying homage whenever you are in store...

Over the years Mrs. H. has learnt to switch off when I'm singing or whistling.
