Just checked Skybet and his odds have dropped to 7/4! Not sure where that came from as last time I looked he was 17/1.

The bookies usually have it right so is he the next man in the hotseat?

Very interesting ... he was on 16-1 and 20-1 this morning. Not sure how I'd feel about that, I had him down as a cheque-book manager to be honest.

I'd still take it with a pinch of salt though - Curtis Woodhouse still appears high up that list.

I think he would be a fantastic appointment in the long term. However, I don't think he suits the hoof-ball footballers we currently have, and I'm not sure he's the relegation scrap type manager.Β

Stuck at home, feeling rough, but Uncle Col has just said its definitely not Ferguson. Highly unlikely to be Rossler or Mark Yates.

Decision close, but not complete.

Nigel Adkins would be the best choice all round.

Colin has been wrong on a few occasions in the past. For a man that spends a lot of time in and around the club, he only is slightly more credible than half of the rumour mongers on NCM.

Fergies ruled himself out supposedly.

I personally pleased because I am not sure he would be the right man for the job but then again, it's not my decision.
