Hi I am a Juve supporter working in London, I met some of you guys in Turin for the Juve-Napoli match last October and I wanted with a friend of mine to come and watch one of your last home matches of this season. Unfortunately both of us will not be able to be together in the same weekend in the UK. Scrolling your fixtures, I noticed the Bournemouth match on April 6th: would you recommend it for joining you in your end? Is that a quiet match out of the pitch? Since we will most probably travel by car or train from London, we would just like to be the two of us with black and white scarves in the middle of Bournemoth end...

What about the tickets? Shall I buy those directly by the Notts County site as I suppose?

Thanks, hope to see you guys soon.

Cheers

Giorgio

PS if you don't mind, we will be coming with Juve scarves...

And compliments, great site!

Hello @fergio79,

It's an absolute pleasure to welcome you to our community! Thank you for taking the time to join us, we look forward to getting to know you better.

would you recommend it for joining you in your end? Yes, of course! :)
Is that a quiet match out of the pitch? I don't know for sure, I suspect it would be a popular game, so demand could be high.
What about the tickets? Shall I buy those directly by the Notts County site as I suppose? I personally would suggest purchasing them online via the Direct Ticket Site. I've only been to one away game, I bought my ticket on the day but I know some games get sold out. I can't see this game being an issue, though it's probably a smart move.

Hope to see you around the site, which I have to thank you for the compliment.
~Joe

Ps. Forza Juve and Forza Notts!

Thanks Joe and Liampie, possibly I didn't express the second question in a good English....I just wanted to know if there is any particular rivalry between Notts and Bourne, since we will be just the two of us around at the beginning out of the field... I have been to many away matches in Italy and I know that some of it has to be taken with a lot of care!  So I would just like to avoid to be the two of us with Italian scarves against 3000 angry Bournies!

I don't actually think there is but it's just to double-check, I'm not that into English football supporters world apart from the Premier and the most famous rivalries....

Hope that when the next season will kick-off we'll be able to travel to Meadow Lane, it's just that looking at the calendar for the end of the season the remaining ones are when one of the two is in Italy to visit families. That's really a hassle!

Good then, we will start planning our trip to South Coast!

Oh, No.. Bournemouth wouldn't be a concern on that level, their fans are largely into football (traditional) and we enjoyed some friendly banter during our League Two winning season.

I can't see it being an issue.

Have fun at the game :)

Hello Fergio,

I myself joined recently, my names David. This is a very friendly site, although I don't know anyone I've been warmly accepted and it's nice to see more people joining. You shouldn't experience any unpleasantries and I have never experienced any problems myself. I've been travelling to Meadow Lane by car, since I live a few hours drive away and never had my car damaged or any problems with rival fans. I attend about 30% of the away games, the same can be said and I don't believe Bournemouth fans would be looking to create any.

Enjoy the game and be sure to let us know! As state previously your English is fine.

David

Hi guys

Thanks for all your comments. I have not been on the site for a while, been in Italy for Easter time.

Just to confirm all of you that I and a friend of mine will be at Bournemouth this Saturday, we already bought tickets, both for bus and East End...

So we will get to town at about 11.30 am, then we'll have a look around and some lunch at a pub....hope that some of you will be there to catch up before the match for a beer! Otherwise we will be leaving at about 7pm, sure we'll have a bit of time later on...

Sure that with the next season we can make it for Meadow Lane, unfortunately we were tied-up with travelling! Otherwise we would have done it at Brentford!!!

See you there

Giorgio

Sadly I planned to go but opt out now. I know a fair few who are, you will be in good company and hopefully some of us who do go will say hello, have a drink etc. I'll look forward to your next visit :)

Enjoy the game buddy
